Sullivan Automotive Group

I am posting the following on behalf of my mother and stepfather who aren't in the habit of posting reviews online, but they wanted to warn others to stay away from Sullivan Auto Group. I would give this dealership zero stars if I could.

"We purchased the camper from them and the morning we picked it up a tire delivery truck backed into it. We were told the repairs could be made closer to our home because we live about 4.5 hours away from the dealership. Every 2 to 3 weeks after that we would call to find out what was going on. In July the repair shop in Springfield, Illinois, finally got the wrong parts. They tried repeatedly to contact Lena Fox (service manager) at Sullivan Auto Group, but they couldn’t get her to respond. We kept calling and kept getting the runaround. In September 2017, we made an appointment to have the camper winterized on Oct. 23, 2017, and again asked if they had the parts needed to fix the original damage. We were told they would get it done. They have had the camper on their property since Oct. 23, 2017, and are telling us they don’t have the parts but 'are doing everything as fast as they can.' We think 11 months is completely unacceptable by anyone’s standards!"

Bottom line: If you are looking to buy a camper, avoid this dealership. My folks have spent the first year of their retirement fighting with this company to get them to stick to their warranty.
