All washers and Dryers are old and close to broken. Washers doesn't clean/wash clothes, Dryer you can spend over a dollar or two and your clothes will still be wet. they hired an old philipino for cheap labor, who is very annoying, she speaks to you in her language and expect you to understand her. she has no customer service skills. she told me to put my we laundry here, I put my quarter in and turn the handle, it doesn't turn on, then she was like I have too much clothes in the dryer, that was not the issue, the machine was broken, she was like sorry no money, like she didn't speak english, but she wanted you to waste your money putting it in the broken machine. I hope the owners fire her, I know she is cheap labor, 5/hr but come on. I will not be going back
Sunset Coin Laundry (A.K.A. Sunset Wash and Dry) used to be a very good laundromat. I've been using them for a LOT of years (over a decade). Unfortunately, the dryers have all become an issue. About 1/3 of them are "Not In Use" (Out of order) at any given time. The sign on the wall says each quarter gives you 8 minutes of dry time and yet three different machines shorted me. Two gave 5 minutes and the third gave 6. To add to my frustration I was only trying to dry ONE SMALL LOAD and between three different dryers running a quarter in each I still left with VERY wet clothes. Either they aren't cleaning their lint traps often enough or well enough or someone needs to do a better job on the maintenance of their dryers. The washers appear to still work fine and the attendant offered to run my load in another machine for one quarter's worth for free but after trying three machines and failing miserably I'm done. This is my third time going there recently and having this level of bad experience. I will be trying ANY other laundromat next time. Hopefully this review helps others pick a better laundromat.
