Damage to 5 day Old Vehicle During Alarm Installation
I took my brand new vehicle to Best Buy in Sugarland to have my new car alarm system installed. During installation, installers put a deep dent in my hood. Not only did they try to pass it off as “being” there when they took it in, but I am still struggling to get them to refund the installation and am fighting with the insurance company who is refusing to pay for the full repair, (even with 2 estimated that are within $2.00 of each other). In fact. I have left messages for the store manager on 3 occasions over the past 3 weeks and have yet to receive a return phone call. Nice guys!! Way to do business. I took my vehicle there because Best Buy is a brand I thought I could trust and I thought they stood behind their products and services. What a HUGE disappointment. Must be customer service and common courtesy are a thing of the past and they just don’t care about their patrons. So far this trip to Best Buy has cost me over $975. Would NEVER recommend.
Our daughter bought us a digital frame from this Best Buy (Store 191 in Sugarland). We tried to return the frame so that I could buy an MP3 Player.
We were refused the exchange because they could not find the receipt by using our daughter's phone number. We were told that no sales were made without the phone number. Too bad, so sad.
Funny, thing, though. We went ahead and bought the MP3 Player. Not only did they not get our phone number for the purchase, they didn't get any information. Lier Lier Pants on Fire!
We called the 800 number for Best Buy and they were friendly and helpful. They actually called the store and were also told too bad so sad. The 800 number customer service told us to try another Best Buy. Each store has the right to chose how they set policies and help customers. This Best Buy doesn't care.
Tip of the day: Find another Best Buy store in Houston/Sugarland. This store is sadly lacking in the management and customer service department. Even their corporate offices though so. Hmmmm.
