I really thought it was the A/C. 1-5-2013 Saturday – I drove the car to meet someone. The meeting was about an hour. I came out and there was water dripping from the top of the windshield. It was enough to fill up the storage space where the dash meets the center console. I call Houston Windshield at that time and it went to voice mail or answer machine. I left a message stating that the windshield was leaking and we need them to fix it. No return call that day. 1-6-2013 Sunday – I called again and left another message. No return call that day 1-7-2013 Monday – I received a call from them. I let them know that the car was in Sugarland at my office in a covered garage. He said he would get in touch with his installer and have them contact me. He did call and I was in a meeting and missed it. 1-8-2013 Tuesday – My truck was in the shop so the Saturn was the only car we had. Mt wife drove it to work and put a cover over the windshield. She called them to come out and they said they can’t fix it in the rain. I understand that I feel we should have been able to take it to their office or something so they could do it inside. 1-9-2013 Wednesday – My wife called again same thing as Tuesday. In the afternoon I received a call from my wife stating even with it covered up rain still got in and the car will not start now. I was at the airport flying out when I got the call. I had 10 min before leaving and I called Houston Windshield and spoke with Dennis Shea. From the very begging of the conversation Dennis just wanted to keep telling me things I did not say. 1) He said when I left the first message I said it was a little drip no big deal. That statement is not true. 2) He said he was not responsible because we drove the car. Now I’m at the airport and they are announcing to load the plane. I have my wife stranded and Dennis is unwilling to do anything. I was very upset with my wife being stranded and Dennis saying thing that are not true. I lost it and lashed out at him with bad language and he hung up. I did call and leave messages telling him I handled the problem wrong and I was sorry about that but someone cant just get paid in full for a job and do it wrong and think it is ok to not fix it or refund the money so they came get a company to do the job correctly. As of today I have called him many times to repair the windshield that they put in incorrectly. They refuse to fix their mistake. He and Houston Windshield will not stand behind their work.
