Tread Quarters Discount Tire

We arrived at 3:30 and they close at 5:00. Our son was on his way back to college and had blowout and it was an emergency. The man at the counter said that they close at 5 and they are busy and they not help us. 1 tire that is all we needed and we told him that we would put it on the car if they could just get it in the rim for us.
He said we are just to busy..
The had 3 other cars and 1 person on each car.. . We did not even mind waiting.
NEVER again will we go back nor will we send anyone there.
We got to the Walmart in Chesapeake and we were in and out in 30 min with 2 new tires installed on the car. Thank you Walmart tire center..

Horrible service! My seat was covered in grease after inspection! I would give no stars but it won't let me. Then quoted me $463 for a part that cost $18 and takes an hour to replace. Do your research and don't let these people take advantage of you. I normally do all the work myself to my vehicles and I went here for convenience and the fact that I can't do state inspections. I will never step foot on another Tread Quarters!

Terrible experience. I took my car in to Tread Quaters today for the annual state inspection. This was my daily driver with less than 50,000 miles with no issues until this shop got ahold of it. 1 and a half hours after drop off I recieved a phone call from David telling me i have a leaking break line. When I show up my car is on the lift literally pouring brake fluid from the rear brake line. The line had never even leaked a drop until it was pulled onto their lift. I checked the parking spot in their lot where the car was parked for over 1 hour, not a drop of brake fluid on the pavement. Checked my driveway where the car sat overnight, not a drop of fluid. There is no doubt the mechanic punctured the line while it was in their shop and assumed I would be stranded and forced to pay them to make the repair. The price I was quoted from their employee's Amy and David was $411 to top it all off. There is a Complete lack of honesty, integrity and respect for the customer at this shop. I hope this helps someone else to avoid this problem. Please be warned.

I was disrespected over a free service...that's right a free service, the $19.99 oil change with Free Tire Rotation. I didn't see my tires get rotated and told Amy Palmer (the manager) it’s no big deal I'll get it next time...not good enough. She grabs the technician who yelled across the customers lounge at me and challenged me he rotated the tires. Yes, that happened. Check their Face book page and one of those customers who witness it posted a comment on the incident. All I could do is smile and ask to be checked out. I'm active duty for 20+ years and have learned to temper myself so a smile is all I could offer. I have never spoken to any subordinate in a negative way in the way I was spoken to. Tread Quarters Managers here's a rule a thumb to assist you always Praise in public and discipline in private. I'll use the other Tread Quarters in the area.

On the rim & Out the door !!!!!! The do exactly what their motto claims !!!!!



I had a nail in my tire so I filled it up w/ air and drove there. I was told it would be about 20 mins or so. I waited just to make sure everything went alright. After waiting so long that my tire had finally gone flat, a serviceman finally went out to my vehicle. I started walking toward my vehicle because I had a feeling I knew what was about to happen.



Sure Enough !!!! The sereviceman started my vehicle and began to frive on my flat tire which was completely sitting on the aluminum rim. I ran up to the vehicle and asked him to stop. He said, "Why?", It won't hurt it. When I disagreed w/ him and told him if he nicked my rim it would not seal properly, he got out of my car, started cussing at me, slammed my door and went back into the shop yelling he didn't need this job. As I watched him in the shop, he retreived his car keys and went home.



When I went back inside and told the mgr what happened, she did get another serviceman to put air in my tire before he moved my car.



After several hours, I finally did get my tire repaired & it has been fine ever since. However I was surprised, {I guess I shouldn't have been} that the mgr still charged me for my awful service and asked that I please come back again.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The lobby waiting area is filthy and smells like urine. I would suggest having someone to ride away with while the car is worked on and coming back when it was ready. The service performed was different from what I requested be performed. I was happy to pay the fee and avoid argument just to get out of there and find somewhere else to go.
