Took my 6 week old kitten to this veterinary clinic on May 27th 2016 as soon as I got her. She had some diarrhea. As soon as the doctor walked into my room he was very rushed, did not inform me of anything that he was doing and did not take the time with my kitten. I asked if he performed a fecal on her and he said yes and that he did not see anything on it, which i found very odd due to the fact that it had only been 2 minutes since he collected a poop sample and fecal takes 10 minutes to set up plus time to look at it under the microscope. One month later I took her to VCA Animal Hospital and she was DIAGNOSED WITH A PARASITIC ROUNDWORM INFECTION that is infectious to HUMANS.
So thanks Boulevard Pet Clinic for charging me 56 dollars for a fecal you did not even perform and then putting me at risk and my whole family for a roundworm infection because I was stupid enough to take your word.
This was by far the worst experience ever!!!!
I was seen by Dr. Schwartz. Before coming to the clinic, i have read all the reviews as to how great that doctor was. Well, I never got to see how great his vet credentials are, because when he showed up to the room with a sack of attitude, I simply left. That person accused me for coming in late, although the time was my appointment time plus waiting in the lobby for 20 mjnutes to be seen. Then, he told me off that i brought a sick dog that needs a lot of work and literally in the accusatory manner with a sour face stated that now he would need to stay late to work on my dog. The last drop was the pricing. This guy just couldn't be more greedy. He literally listed ALL known medical tests that I had to do without any explanation as to why he suggested ALL of them done. That is not to say that he did not even bother to even examin the dog first.
I never write reviews, but that "creature" of a vet simply beat the record with me. He is unethical, unpleasant and unfriendly.

PET OWNERS PLEASE READ!!!
Last year Dr Schwartz removed a tumor from my dogs paw, did a biopsy and reported that it was NOT cancerous.
However, he said it could grow back, and if it did, it could be removed for ""cosmetic"" reasons. (his exact words).
Well, it did grow back and Dr Schwartz still said it was nothing to worry about.
Long story short, i collected my dogs records form Dr schwartz and received a 2nd and 3rd opinion regarding his tumor.
It turns out it was cancerous. it even said so in Dr Schwartz's records from the biopsy he did. Which leads me to believe he never once looked at the report in the 1st place.
sadly, since the cancer has taken over his entire paw, his leg now needs to be amputated.
i am sharing this story so pet owners can avoid this vet at all costs. His negligence is not only costing my poor dog his leg but all the stress and money that comes with it.
I am shocked this man still has a license and plan on reporting him to the veterinary medical board.

The 1 star goes for the very pleasent guys and girls who wrk behind the desk!
This Dr. is extreamely RUDE! will never bring my dog to him ever ever again- I was quoted $95 from front desk blood wrk would be $95 ... so decided to stay being it was sunday and holiday and my vet was closed- when he quoted me $165 I told him that wasnt what i was quoted - he rudely snapped at me how she was wrong - I told him he didnt need to be so rude, i was there to help my dog and 95 was what i was quoted and he got more rude- I told him i wouldnt ever put my pet in his hands and will never give him my business ever!
I knew he had bad very bad reviews- but waas going to be charged twice for going back to emergency clinic- BIG MISTAKE.... mr normal vet has INTEGRITY and compassion for animals over there wallot!!!!

This is a review on behalf of our departed friend Lucy. She loved Dr Schwartz and he kept her healthy all her 12 years. And at the end when old age had caught up to her and nothing was humanly possible he helped her pass on in the most gracious way. This vet is compassionate and loves his four legged patients. Lucy gives Dr David Schwartz Five tail wags from heaven
We added to our family a beautiful puppy called Daisy who Dr Schwartz was so tender with and she also loved him. Unfortunately we lost our little Daisy due to over breeding and heart problems. Dr Schwartz was there for us all the way. What everyone needs to understand about David is that he really cares about his four legged patients.

I have had dogs my entire life, so therefore I have gone to many vets throughout the years for different reasons. By a miracle, I wound up at Dr. Schwartz office and I will never have to go anywhere else again. Not only did Dr. Schwartz save my dog's life, but he is also very kind and gentle with ALL of my pets. It is clear how much he cares about each and every one of them individually. Also, I have never been treated as kindly as I am by his staff. Not only are they extremely professional but knowledgable and very helpful too. Roberto is the master at putting you at ease and someone who is very helpful and kind. I also take my dogs to get bathed there as well. It's a one stop shop if you want to be treated well and your pets completely cared for. I highly recommend Blvd. Pet Clinic!!!! I have never written a review before for anything, but I just had to share my opinion about this wonderful clinic.

Dr. Schwartz is smart, thorough, honest and -- surprise, surprise (if you've read some of the negative reviews here) -- markedly kind and caring to both pets and their owners.
(And his staff is a blast, by the way!)
He's kept our puppy happy and healthy.
Who could ask for anything more?

If you want your hand held and a vet that's going to tell you what a wonderful person you are don't go here. Dr Swartz may be a bit direct, but he is amazing with animals! If you want the best possible care for your pet at reasonable rates this is the place to go. His incredibly friendly staff more than makes up for his direct nature.

Dr Schwartz has been our vet for over 20 years.! Our first Great Dane lived to be 11 years old under his care. A few mos ago our barely 3 years old Great Dane, Freya, got extremely ill. Two emergency vets couldn't figure out what was wrong w/her. Dr. Schwartz diagnozed her w/Autoimmune Disease. He took her in for 4 days to stabilize her, after about 3 weeks of treating her at home she got pneumonia, and we thought for sure she wouldn't make it. We were debating putting her to sleep, as she was all skin and bones and we couldn't afford to treat her anymore. Dr Schwartz offered to treat her for free purely out of his good heart. Dog has gained 20 lbs, and feeling good. Where else in this world would you find ANYBODY who would offer to do that????
