All About Poke, Studio City, CaliforniaMy friend Ron introduced and recommended All About Poke for us to eat at and honestly, I knew absolutely Nothing about their food. However, I was more than Impressed by their selection and type of food which reminded ME of Sushi. Before I chose what I wanted to eat, the staff graciously allowed ME to sample several of their food items. For dinner, I had a bowl of white rice containing things such as shrimp, octopus, salmon, mango, etc.The taste of their Food was very Delicious!I want to personally Thank Ron for taking ME there to eat back on Friday, October 27, 2017.Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreVisitorExecutive, Volunteer Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites/HPS
hands down my favorite place for sushi. I could eat here everyday if there wasnt a risk of mercury poisoning. updating based on a few past experiences: the wait time can be ridic.
Best Ramen! I love the spicy chicken ramen and the spicy mayo shrimp! They have a good menu selection that is reasonably priced!
Small restaurant that does not take reservations. Excellent sushi with great service. Clean restaurant.
Best Ramen in this areaI love the Jinya Tonkotsu Black with Pork and the Jinya Chicken ramen and the pork bun.
This is one of my favorite lunch places. It's Japanese soul food. It's family run restaurant that's full of character.
Been coming to Midori Sushi for over 15 years. Great service, awesome staff, oh all you can eat sushi is always a win for me!!!
We had a great dinner here recently. Parking is a little tricky, since they are right on Ventura Blvd and they do not take reservations. We walked in expecting a wait and they were able to seat us immediately - yay! I ordered The Nozawa for $42 and it was a perfect amount of food, and the fish was incredibly fresh. I love the ease and simplicity of their sushi and I will definitely be back.
Food - 4/5 stars. It was very tasty and I absolutely loved the jalapeno poppers. Service - 2/5 stars. I sat at the booth and could not understand if the sushi chefs were supposed to wait on me, because the waitress only came once, to give me my check. Overall, I would come here again!
They have 3 choices for omakase that ranges from $85-$200. The most expensive one fells like more kaiseki than sushi. I tried the $85 omakase and ordered a few more from their specialty menu. Food is fantastic but nothing special. For walk-ins, the best time to come in for dinner is around 9pm.
