The Ohio Juvenile Detention Director's Association, also known as OJDDA, is a nonprofit organization that works to provide equal opportunities for supporting and educating its members. Founded in 1993, it serves as a medium to advocate for Ohio's juvenile detention and to impact legislation, policies, practices and other related activities. The Ohio Juvenile Detention Director's Association also provides an avenue for juvenile directors to interact and share ideas and services. It assists in obtaining funding grants to purchase computer systems, digital cameras and detention software capabilities for detention centers throughout Ohio. Additionally, the organization provides leadership, membership and participation in various juvenile-related committees. The Ohio Juvenile Detention Director's Association maintains a location in Stryker, Ohio.
