Great food. Great Service. Great experience. I will be going to Duchess and eat there every Thursday and Friday night as I have been for the last 4 years. And after dinner, Fresh Cheesecake that is baked on premises. Best diner in Connecticut!
The Stratford Trumbull Civitan would like to thank Andrew and Dan for the nine pizzas they donated for our Christmas party
The fish dinners are amazing.
Outriggers actually ruined a birthday dinner for us. Perhaps this restaurant used to be acceptable. It certainly isn t any longer. We made reservations for Saturday the 4th two days prior. We were sat in a Catering room on the 2nd Floor, alone. Steamers were rancid, we had to send one order back. My dinner was wretched, all the while we are upstairs with a floor standing AC blowing on us and in a room, no music, listening to people running up and down stairs, alone. Tuna Steak was subpar, my softshell crab was common, the scrod was less than good. The lettuce was wilted. I asked for help from the Hostesses and was told that we are upstairs because it s first come first serve. However, people in after us were apparently seated outside, I asked the hostesses twice how this could happen and why we were seated upstairs, "first come first serve." It was our first time eating there and last time. Unacceptable. However, we did have a great waitress, fast, polite and excellent at her job.
This delightful restaurant is tastefully decorated, and it has the best Asian food I've ever tasted. The owners are anxious to please and go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied. Our waiter was the son of the owners, and he was very interested to know if we enjoyed our dinner. The food was freshly prepared with the best ingredients. We sampled almost everything, and it was all delicious.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Town of Stratford. My husband and I have never had Vietnamese food before, and we tried it for the first time at TD Vietnam Palace. We’ve been back twice within two weeks since and believe that we will be life-long customers. You will be dining among the graciousness of a Vietnamese family. The family that owns and runs the restaurant are abundant hosts, and are personable and kind. You will never be rushed, and the owners go out of their way to make sure you have a remarkable dining experience. The food is incredible! Amazingly fresh, light, healthy, and ALL made from scratch. Each meal is cooked by hand to order, there are no pre-prepared meals. The vegetables are fresh, crisp, and at peak ripeness. The broths are home made, nothing artificial is added to them. TD Vietnam Palace is the hallmark of clean cooking and raises the bar for restaurant uniqueness, fresh real food, and genuinely amiable service. My husband and I are looking forward to our next visit, and we wish them many, many years of success.

Delicious offerings, generous portions, presentation lovely. Have been several times, changing offerings seasonal in nature....nice specials each visit !!!!Don't miss this opportunity for a great meal in beautiful surroundings! Prices more reasonable than similar settings in Fairfield. GO!
In the land of 10,000 pizza joints and Asian fusion places, this is a welcome surprise to the Stratford area. I had recently heard of Vietnam Palace and decided to check it out. You can get good Vietnamese food in Bridgeport or New Haven but what sets this place off is how clean and welcoming it is. The booths are spacious, decor is just enough and everything is spotless. The first thing I noticed is how friendly the staff was and how we were promptly seated. The menu is not overwhelming and the traditional dishes all looked delicious. We first stared off with the Veggie Egg Rolls and the Shrimp Spring rolls. Both were fresh and delicious and almost big enough to be a meal in themselves. For the main course, we had The Beef Pho and the TD Special Combo Pho. They were equally amazing. Fresh and flavorful with a side of extra toppings like lemongrass, peppers, bean sprouts and limes that you can add yourself. I love the extra chili and siracha as well. The service was excellent here and the family that owns the place were eager to get to know their customers and value their feedback. They seem very willing to customize any dish to your liking or food allergies. One thing to note: Everything here is FRESH and made from scratch. Good food takes time so if you are in a rush, you might want to call in your order ahead. Also, it's BYOB and there are no corking fees.On my way out I grabbed a Vietnamese grilled chicken sandwich to go for my wife. She said it was the best sandwich she has ever eaten and cant wait to visit for a meal. The bread is fresh baked and all of the toppings were crisp and tasty.I am looking forward to coming back real soon and I wish the best to the entire family that brought this wonderful place to Stratford.
The windmill brings you back to the good ol' days of being both, a great drinking spot as well as excellent food!If one doesn't care for the bar section (great drinks, sports on the tube, a pool table and some unique characters, one can always retreat to the back dining room.
