Stow Urgent Care

Long wait to be seen. Doctor was rude and unprofessional. Insulted me because I couldn’t remember if I had a certain medicine before. Told me I was too distracted. I have a TBI with memory loss. I will never go back there.

I went in this evening because after sitting in a tree stand for long hours and very still for two days in a row, I had a lump come up very quickly on my thigh seemed pretty much exactly the criteria I knew of at least for a possible blood clot. The doctor started in by questioning why I thought it was a blood clot as if I wanted to diagnose myself; I explained I was just concerned because I couldn't identify the cause and since blood clots were life- threatening I better get it looked at. He followed through and gave me medication and a follow up appointment at the hospital as I expected at least for liability reasons, and I believe I still may actually have a blood clot despite being treated like a moron. This urgent care also said that I was a patient here already and that I weighed 250 pounds on my last visit back in April. I had never been to this urgent care before and weigh 220 pounds. My wife did go there back in April and she weighs about 170 pounds. I have no idea how they screwed up our information that badly to believe that it was me in their system ( my info would've been on our insurance card) but they apparently didn't record my wife's information at all. Glad they gave me what I 'think' ( since I don't think he diagnosed me at all tonight) I needed and thank God I don't have to go back. I'm sure this place would be fine for some stitches or a flu shot, but don't come here with anything you actually need a professional to help with.

I would give this zero stars if it was an option. I am currently sitting here with 4 children. My 2 older children had appointments at 1:40 and 2:20 for sports physicals. It is now 3:20 and we have yet to be seen. They charged my debit card when we signed in, otherwise I would walk out. Absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful of patients time. I have 2 toddlers and I'm about to encourage them to start yelling just to maybe hurry this nightmare along. Terrible experience.

I promise you.. do not waste your time. These Dr's have no idea what they are doing. Long story short... I was prescribed the wrong treatment for a poison Ivy rash which actually ended up making it worst. I even tried to call them out on it after doing some research the day after I left the office and they told me to wait it out. Which by doing that caused more of a problem. After having to go to a dermatologist (a specialist) and explaining the treatment I was prescribed he confirmed to me that they were wrong. I called the office to complain since they actually made the problem worst, they told me they weren't going to do anything for me and still stood by what they prescribed. Awful and the Dr's obviously do not know what they are doing.

DON'T BOTHER! Save your money and time! I went to this location just this past Saturday when I had a swollen and sore throat. After a 3 hr wait, I was told by the quack of a Dr who saw me that there was nothing wrong. She said it was viral. She noticed my left gland was slightly larger than the other, and said it could be from allergies (I've never had allergies, which I told her). She said it looked a little swollen, but not to worry. Then she proceeded to tell me that if that gland got any bigger, I may want to consider getting a biopsy because it could be a sign of the beginning of lymphoma!!!! I went in because I thought I might have strep and needed to get that checked for my son and husband's sake (he has major health issues with a VERY low immune system and didn't want to take a chance of passing anything to either of them) and I'm told "it's nothing, but watch out for lymphoma"!! I eventually went to a REAL Dr. on Monday, and SHE immediately saw my throat was red and swollen and my left ear (the side of my enlarged gland) was pretty red!! Within a minute of her examining me, she saw the obvious- I had an ear infection/sinus infection and needed antibiotics asap! I wasted my time and $$ for absolutely NOTHING! If you need to see a Dr asap about something, don't go to Stow Urgent Care- you're better off going to the ER.
