It’s not a very friendly environment to me. I go there only if I have to. There’s a check out clerk who works there in the evening who is rude to me and I end up feeling bad.
Someone might want to tell Edna, your front end coordinator, not to jerk a cart away from a 9-month pregnant woman when she's leaning on it and then smirk about it. Very rude.
I'd give it 4 stars if it weren't for their horrible dry cleaning company. I had a nice peacoat dry cleaned, and when I got it, it had 2-3 inch circular rip in the front, and they had TRIED TO STITCH IT UP so nobody would notice. It also had a rip on the end of the sleeve and bottom hem. I couldn't do anything about it at first because I got it drycleaned right before going on vacation. So, I wore a damaged coat on my vacation. When I finally brought it back, Giant Eagle sent it back to the dry cleaners. The dry cleaners sent it back to Giant Eagle, telling them I waited too long to bring the coat back, and that I couldn't prove they ripped it. Giant Eagle needs to get a more professional dry cleaning company. I now have a ripped coat and didn't even get reimbursed for getting it dry cleaned.
We love the Eagle's Nest child care at this Giant Eagle. With 5 children, it is a real blessing to have someone watch my children while I shop. The staff in the Eagle's nest is always friendly and the children are always actively engaged in play. Our children are always so excited to go there. I love the store, too. It's well organized and a very appealing place to shop.
