Walked in just to look around and check out the prices on the meats. On the way out I was asked, in a very hostile manner, what I was looking for, what I wanted. I told the fellow behind the register that I was just looking around, he continued to ask what I wanted, why I was there. He said "I don't know you, I don't know why you're here." With such a lack of any hint of customer service, this business never will know me, glad I was shown how they really are before I purchased anything. Prices were higher than the market down the street.

Texas Meat Market is a thriving local market in the community. I have been going there on and off for about 4 years. Tonight my roomie and I opted for the $35 pack special and a pot roast @ $2.29 a lb.... It's sure is alot of meat. I'm still trying to figure out a way to fit it all in the wonder…
Asked for goose..no goose. Looked for goat..no goat. Just called looking for rabbit...no rabbit. What a crock. These things are advertised on your webpage. How disappointing. Sticking with michocana and Alon.
I like the Culebra food market, because of the prices of their meat. But I have recently been told by a customer of mine at my store VAT he will never eat any of them meet at their store. I asked him why, he said that they were on the news about a couple years ago. He saidthat their meat is not us a approve. So my question is should I worry about this because I really like their food and the prices.
Good. Friendly staff, good food, fair prices. They had lots of great spices and jerky for sale also. I will go back.
Not as good as they were beforeI was here in 2006 and the steaks were so tender you could have cut them with a spoon. I got back in 2012 and they now have new management. I got sirloins (as I did before) and they were huge, untrimmed and not very tender. I probably could have gotten better steaks at Walmart, Costco, HEB or anywhere else and saved a lot of money. On a positive note they gave me a free sample of their rub and it tasted awesome. I just wish I had a tender steak to rub it on. Back in 2006 the steaks compared easily to Ruth's Chris steakhouse. Not sure what happened but I'll be going elsewhere for my beef from now on.
It's was FREAKIN awesome. Love it. great food, service and ppls.
