I wish I could give them 0 stars!! Their customer service and production are on par with the quality. It took 2 months to get my son's pictures and the lighting was awful, the poses were ridiculous. My son's neck looked broken. It took 5 months to get the composite picture and the school year date was wrong! Now they are telling us we hope to have them done by the summer!! Are you kidding?! 8 months after they were taken!!!? We never had this problem with any other photography company. It's already been confirmed our school will not be using them next year!! Hey North American Photography...you're fired!!!
still waiting for group band photo from my daughters middle school band during the 2013-2014 school year. it's been 16 weeks since the rest of the pictures were mailed. I'll update when it arrives.update 12/30/14-the group composite was supposed to be mailed at home but went to the school instead without any protection from band class to getting home. our composite was loose and traveled in my 8th graders backpack 12/19/14 and was all bent up. it took MONTHS to receive so I just let it go and when I went to frame it, I noticed a big printing error. instead of it being printed out ..Middle School Band, it said ..High School Band. My child is in the 7th grade for this picture with the rest of the middle school band students. I'm never purchasing from this company again. I just downgraded from 2 stars to 1 star for my review.
I GIVE THEM ZERO STARS. WORST PHOTOGRAPHY EVER! SAVE YOUR MONEY! You pay lots of money for no or damaged photo and they won't give you a refund. Instead they place blame on the customer instead of fixing the problem. Called with no call back. Sent email through the website with no response and when I finally complain, they are eager to make it right yet fail to acknowledge their fault. The photos are awful, my 8 year old could take better pictures. They don't bother with fixing the uniform, its all wrinkled, the poses doesn't match for JROTC its just awful. New ownership, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THEM, YOU WILL NOT BE SATISFIED!
PART I: This company came in and photographed the Air Force JROTC at our high school. When the proofs came in for review, the fun began. First, students could not order what they wanted; parents had to come in for the order. This was not a big deal as I'm an active parent volunteer with the unit--- so I talked to the Colonel while I waited. He stated that they had not used the company for several years---- and this was a reminder why he did not. There was only one sales rep, and he was very high pressure trying to promote purchases of large packages. We ordered two poses, one 5X7 of each pose. The poses were very robotic, even for a 15 year old boy who doesn't like his picture taken and forgot how to smile when he was 13. The salesman kept pushing for big packages well in excess of $100 and more. The $40 I paid for the four 5X7's was more than what I wanted to pay. The salesman kept pushing for this and that other piece of crap we didn't want. I had to raise my voice with him three times---"Two 5X7's, these two poses!" One of the other cadets, who's parents could not be there, asked to see the proofs. The salesman rudely refused to show him the photos. PART II: The photos would not ship for 8-9 weeks. They arrived on Christmas Eve day--- too late to be used for the gifts they were intended for. I had called the company to ask if they had been shipped a couple of weeks earlier, and got a rude woman on the other end of the line who said they might be shipped in time for Christmas. I asked if that was the best they could do in this day and age, got another snippy repsonse. I filed a complaint on their website contact and never received a reply. PART III: When the prints finally arrived, they were wholly mediocre at best. Nowhere near the quality expected for the price paid. They were machine prints of the same quality one would get from Wal Mart or similar. The color balance was too blue and the focus was ever so slightly off. Any middle school kid with a cell phone camera could have taken as good of a picture. PART IV: Never Again! IF the AFJROTC unit decides to use this company again, I will not buy from them. However, with enough dis-statisfied parents; I don't think Colonel is going to order from them again.
My sons band pix just came...ugh!! & for so much $$ too. :-( Very bad horn placement, no retouch as was promised (because his undershirt was showing), they put the SAME pose on the composite (not our choice of pix), & as another reviewer mentioned- NO ANSWER & NO RESOLUTION. Never again. What a rip off scam.
