We started coming to this clinic with our family pets since I was eight years old and I now take my dog here. My family and I love this vet! The staff is friendly, and they make an effort to remember you and your pets which is excellent. It makes it a more personal experience, and me and my family valued as one of their customers. They are compassionate and thorough, and they continue to provide excellent care and compassion. I cannot say enough good things about how they treat my dog and how they treat me. I especially appreciate the staff and willingness to explain treatment options and costs. All doctors, assistants and office personnel are the best. The pricing here is very reasonable compared to other Vets this place is a low cost they also offer a payment plan through care credit. My dog gets a weekly bath,Flea Dip as needed and grooming services only for $10.00 a week as long as I take my dog every seven days.
First incident: Most unprofessional facility I've even put in the care of my cat. On 1/25/2017 took cat in for grooming, when I got him home and while removing him from his crate, tail first I thought I have the wrong animal, he had a buzz cut. When I called to complain about the buzz cut, I was told that that is what I requested. A BOLD FACE LIE. Why would I request a buzz cut in January the depths of winter. My cat is a long haired Maine Coon. I was also told he was overweight, he weighs 18.8 lbs and need to loose 5 lbs. and given a feline diet prescription. The average weight of a male Maine Coon is 15-25 lbs.
Second incident: 6/10/2017. Cat needed grooming, his nails needed cutting and annal gland expresssion, I told owner/veterinarian to only cut nails and hair on foot pads and annal gland expression, do not cut any other place on cut. Again got home remove cat from crate, the hair that extends from his ears like a lynx was cut off. Called owner and she said they did not cut hair from ears. I brought cat back at facility had her look at cat and said his ear hair was not cut.
Other incidents: 1) a nail cut so short it bled for a week; 2)
cutting extended hair from ears, one ear a flat top cut the other ear looked like a razor cut along with his whiskers being cut. WHO CUTS CAT'S WHISKERS!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL ... SMH
BEWARE! Wish I could give them a 0 star. You could be paying for services not rendered.
My husband took our two dogs to their routine weekly grooming and when they returned home, my parents immediately noticed that neither dog had been bathed or trimmed. One of our dogs still smelled which later the owner tried to blame on an existing ear infection. However, this was the first time in several weeks that Lillie came back still smelling after a bath and she has had this ear infection since going to this groomer. Also when Lillie starts to need a bath, her coat turns brown and she was still brown (she's normally white with slight light brown spots). So, we could clearly tell when she has not been bathed. Our other dog's paws were still dirty. Neither dogs had their hairs trimmed. As my husband was rushing off to work when he picked them up, he made mention to the clerk that they hadn't been cut (not noticing they were not bathed either) and he was told that she would inform the groomer for next time. There was no mention of bringing them back the next day. Once we spoke to the owner, she asked why we didn't call her the next day as she has a 24-hour policy (never mentioned to my husband). The owner then placed us on hold and came back on the line talking about not having medical records for one of the dogs and how our dog could be contagious. What does that have to do with us calling about being charged for services not rendered?!?! Needless to say, we provided these medical records from when they first started going there as they will not groom the dogs without their records. Oh and charged my husband $300 the first time they groomed Lillie for special medicated treatment! She still wanted to charge us on our next visit. After arguing with her about the dogs not being groomed and her insisting they were bathed, I informed her we would not be using her services anymore. Clearly, she doesn't value her customers business by trying to satisfy a dissatisfied customer.
The people at Atlanta Pet care Center are really truly honest they care for pets and friendly. I don't care what other people say but my experience when I took my dog for services, I always see a good face, honest answer, reasonable prices and so on. Never have bad experience.

I got my appointment days mixed up and they called to remind me. They were still able to take me that day. Even though I had missed my appointment they were still very friendly. Prices were reasonable and they answered all the new dog owner questions I had. I'll be using them as my vet in the future.

If you are looking for a great place for your pet care need, please go to Atlanta Pet Care Center. You will not regret. I used to take my dog to another pet center for his grooming and health care need until a friend suggested to me about Atlanta Pet Care Center. That was 2006. Even since then, I am pleased with their service. I want to compliment the entire stuff for friendly and professional services. They never failed to provide outstanding pet care.

STAY AWAY!!! This was the worst experience ever. The staff was not friendly nor very helpful and their lack of knowledge caused my puppy to suffer at the hand of their incompetence. The doctor showed a lack of compassion and did not attempt to further explain to my family what happened. This place disgusted me as a animal lover and will never see the likes of me and any of my friends again. This establishment is the worst that I have ever visited. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE....do not go here if you truly love your pet.

First, I only stopped in here because my schdule was hectic and they were open later. I love my vet but just couldn't make it be there.
I was offered a special that was to include ""everything"" for the year. Great. In the exam room, the vet tech put my sweet gentle lab in a choke hold so that she could get her shots. She was so traumatized!! Yes, she is a big dog, but in nine years, no one has treated her like that!!
I was glad to be out of there. When I went online to order her heartworm preventative. I was told that the vet would not authorize it, because I had not had a heartworm test done. Back to the vet, where they tell me that the test is ""mandatory."" Well if it's mandatory, why was it not required last time?? Now they want more money for another office visit AND will not let my dog be treated unless the same vet tech handles her!!
Awful awful people. The woman was rude and yelled at me. The doctor seems to be in a daze; I wouldn't trust him to actually diagnose anything.
Dr. Gibson is right around the corner by the post office--best vet ever.
I have been taking my 3 lab mix dogs for a weekly bath for the past two years, they always came home nails trimmed and very clean and fresh. The price for all these service is $10.00 bucks every week. It's reasonable price and I highly recommend others to take this advantage.
