OK, I have read every review posted for Cimarron Steak House. Let's start with * Those 3 that gave bad revews, ARE YOU ON CRACK?* Cimarron is the best steak house ever. Nick is the best server ever, we love him. Just for the record, we had a family dinner on Mothers Day, The ticket came, I never even looked at it. I gave Nick my card, and handed him his tip, When he came back for me to sign the ticket, he had adjusted the bill. They had added a Gratuity, I had tiped him, so he had them take it off the bill. Tell me do you think someone else would have done that. Honestest servers, I love. Hubby and I go at least every other week. We would go everyday, but let's face facts, we live across town. We have always had awsome service, our food has always been cooked to order. Every time we go out to eat with someone new, we go to Cimarron. The prices are well below the standard for the food, and the food is way above the standard. How many places can you cut a steak with a fork?I have said what I felt needed to be said. Our first and last visit. No one met us at the door. After a few minutes my husband went to the bar to ask for someone. A gentleman walked by and told us just a moment. Although the staff was friendly I was disappointed when my steak was delivered and the waitress walked away without asking me to cut it to check it was cooked correctly. We both ordered medium. Mine was almost burnt on the outside and rare on the inside. My husband's steak was closer so he offered to switch and we did. I did inform the waitress it came too rare and she told me they would have corrected it. However I would have had to wait for her return to do so. The flavor of the 2nd steak was very good. We paid and left quickly as it was too hot inside. Overall we did not feel the sides, steak and experience was worth the high cost.
I found this place on a Saturday when in OK City trying to find the best steakhouse for my birthday dinner that night. I came across Mickey Mantles in the OK City guide book. I stopped in many steakhouses in the area, but NONE had a 5-star atmosphere like Mickey Mantles! I waited till they open at 5pm and had a drink & a tour. AWSOME place! I reserved a nice red leather booth. Returned at 8 for dinner. It was awsome! the COWBOY cut rib eye with a lobster tail on the side. The best thin crispy onion rings heaped on the platter. Awsome wedge of iceburg w/roqufort & red onions! Jazz band on weekends in the lounge was great! Most beautiful bar in all of the city! Professional wait/bar staff. Leave the kids at home an enjoy an evening out! Wish they would franchise out to JAX FL!
We ate at Opus on Christmas Eve our waiter Keith was very knowledgeable about all the menu items an super professional. All 3 of us ordered steak. When Keith brought out our steaks an sides we all agreed the steaks were the best we've had anywhere. Thats saying something because we've eaten at all the fine steakhouses in OKC, Tulsa, Dallas, Huston, DC. Just about everywhere we travel for work. Opus is our favorite steakhouse in OKC. We were Mahgony big fans but I think Opus is just a bit better than Mahgony an Red.
My husband saw the commerical of Longhorn on TV. So for our Date Night (Sat. Nite), we took the drive from Shawnee to Longhorn. Let me tell you it was well worth the drive. Our server was Claudia H, she was the best...the Prime Rib was OMG, melt in your mouth..we will be going back soon. Oh yea, the Manager and the rest of the staff was great also, be ready to eat, the food comes out pretty fast...
Prompt and friendly service, best steak by far since visiting Oklahoma. The aroma filled our car as we drove by, made us change our minds where we wanted to eat. Did not have a long wait to be seated, and served. The steak was cooked to perfection in mouthwatering favors. Love the bread, fresh and flatly, with sweet butter. I give two thumbs up with a full belly! Great night and great food.
When I asked around as to where was the best steakhouse on OK-City, everyone said Cattlemans. So I checked it out. Long line ran out the door. Ate at counter with no wait. Sort of a diner type atmosphere. Steak was good, but NOT 5 stars, atmosphere was 3 stars. Just not a place I would go to celebrate a birthday. Found Mickey Mantles to be the place to go for fine dining instead that night.
This was our 1st time to try Cimmeron Steakhouse, & it was Awsome, we will definitely be back, I had the cowgirl steak & my Fiance had the cowboy Steak, it was absolutely belicious, I also had a Frozen marqueta and it was perfect. It was my turn to pick a restaurant & I really wanted to try somewhere we had never been, my Fiance said I did great, thanks YP
Filet was not cooked to my specification. Also since when did filets have a strip of fat or a tendon running through it. This was my first visit to this Outback and I wasn't pleased. Our server waz nice and pleasant despite my steak being undercooked. Won't visit this one again.
The staff was friendly, knowledgable, attentive but not overboard--just right.The food was excellent. I always get a medium well steak and most places have a hard time with it being done and still tender. This was.It was a quite relaxing enjoyable start to a nice evening.
