The main owner seems professional and knowledgeable on her work some of the other stylist seem to be decent. Unfortunately I felt very uncomfortable with the atmosphere and I was only going to sit in and wait for my aunt to get her service done, after being recommended here the faces the stylist made seemed very hostile.
If I could leave less than one star I would. I had my hair done here in October by Mia. NOT TIA. She chemically burned my scalp with the bleach, left it on so long that my hair was coming out in chunks after she washed the bleach out. Then she put an ugly golden GREEN tinted color on top of my bleach hair. I left feeling like I wanted to shave all the hair off of my head and buy a wig. I was that upset. Save yourself. I will never go to another hair dresser that hasn't done one of my family members or close friends hair. Mia was extremely unprofessional as well once I told her how unhappy I was after she washed the bleach out. I wish I had taken more photos. I only have one picture where you can hardly tell how horrible it looks. My hair is still fried 4 months later. It was in a healthy condition before the bleaching. It was long too. I had to cut inches off just so that my hair did not look completely dead. My hair was so fried I had to wait the recommended two to four weeks to redye over the hideous color. This was my first bleaching experience, and I will never make that drastic of a change to my hair again. DO NOT GO HERE
Great place to have your hair done, knowledgeable staff, great costumer service, flawless work.
Did the dying myself a couple days before I went to see Vicki at Pomp. I was afraid that I should've dyed it after the appointment but was greeted with only good comments upon first walking in. She gave me a kick-ass haircut and I have zero complaints!!!
I am so glad I found Maegen at Pomp Salon. She is great. She listens to what you want and doesn't try to push extra services on you. My hair was really grown out but she had no problem making my hair look prefect. I receive so many compliments. I will definitely see her again.
Lucky Hair Salon was a great find for hair cuts. I've had them cut my hair a couple of different ways. The basic haircut using numbered guards on the clippers for the sides and back is $8 and looked pretty good. Also tried the men's trim for $8, where they use clippers and comb and looked even better.Layered cuts are $10.They have 3 chairs; usually two ladies working every day. Friendly staff. And they offer to trim your eyebrows (a nice feature that a lot of places don't do). They offer women's cuts and coloring.
I've been waxed several times here and it's always been fine until my last experience. The waxer ripped skin along with hair and was so fast i didn't know what hit me. I had to seek medical attention afterwards. When i spoke to the lady on the phone about it all she said was "call us If you want to reschedule". Won't be going back here anymore.
Had a bad experience here. Brows ended up too thin and I was not happy. I expected more when that's all they do.
Long time popular salon is still pretty good. Went here many treats ago and took some time off but came back and really liked my new haircut.
BEWARE!!!!I have gotten a good hair cut here before,BUT this time, I got the worst hair cut in history!I asked to have my hair cut to 3" long, over my ears and to my collar....what I got was a half of an inch on the sides and back, and 3' on the top and frontABSOLUTELY THE WORST HAIR CUT I'VE EVER GOTTEN IN MY 66 YEARS!When I complain she said I said I wanted it short in broken English...I NEVER used the word short!
