Pet Kingdom Grooming Salon

I have been taking my dog there for years. He's requires a trim every two weeks and he sees April. She is great, along with the majority of the staff. They all greet my dog and are so happy to see him when he arrives and I can tell he likes them as well. I have tried other places and have not been satisfied with the cut. However, I gave service three stars because I've experienced a similar very rude experience with the owner's son. He spoke to me rudely on one occasions over the phone because I was running late for my appointment and a few months later I had a similar issue and he was very rude to me and had the audacity to remind me that he had once before provided me with the timeframe In which I could bring my dog for grooming. I called back and spoke with the owner, who is very well mannered, and explained to him that if his son ever felt bold enough to speak to me in that manner again that he would have to speak with my husband and he's not as kind as I am. I have been coming here for way too long and The son is hardly ever there, I guess he pops in when his dad is feeling a little under the weather. The father apologized and I've never had the displeasure of speaking with his son again. Unfortunately, we do our best to raise our children but ultimately it's up to them to learn and use what we teach them and in this instance, I think his son is among the many ignorant and lacking customer service people that live in this world smdh. If the business was to remain afloat with only the son owning it, it would go bankrupt.

Love bringing my baby to Pet Kingdom! Melissa always does a fantastic job and they are always able to get Coco in and she leaves looking her best!

Took my two dogs to have their feet, face and fanny trimmed, as well as a bath. Told them specifically TWICE not to cut their hair. When I picked them up my male looked great but when they brought out my female they had given her a puppy cut! So here we are at the beginning of winter and she is practically naked!! To top it off they charged me $90 and I had to pay before I even saw them! Very unhappy!!

When we first got our Shiba, we took him to a few other salons in the Stockbridge/McDonough area and after one visit to each, we just kept looking. He would come home and alternately sleep and fret for a couple of days. We've been using Pet Kingdom for a few years now and can't imagine taking Max anywhere else. He gets the cut we ask for, and he comes home happy and alert. The folks at Pet Kingdom always recognize us, and it is obvious that they love animals.
