We had a tree to fall on our home in April 2014. Paul Davis Restoration was recommended by my insurance company. This company came out looked at the damage and told us they would fix our home. Half of our home was crushed under the tree, but we where assured by them that they would be able to handle the job. After 3 years and 9 months our home is not fixed. We where told that in 6 months we would be back in our home. After 18 months we finally have what looks like a finished home. We look over the home with the foreman, go over a few items that where not correct, and agreed that job was mostly finished. After several months of not getting anywhere on the few items that needed to be fixed, and this list growing after we found more, the owner came to our home to have a look and get this job finished. He walked all over our home. was very flipped about our complaints ( just a few cosmetic issues ) then went into attic to find several safety issues. He told us he would get those fixed and make everything right. After this we could not get ahold of him ( always fishing or hunting). Then he has the gall to file a lawsuit for the balance of the job. We had someone come out and go over the home and was shocked at what he found. The framing was done so badly that our front porch is falling in. The front wall is so out of level that several windows will not open. The list goes on. After going to court the owner finally looks at our photos and backs down. He dropped his suit and we dropped our counter suit. This whole experience has been a nightmare.

I had Mr. Zales do work after him giving me what I thought was a fair estimate for his work which was to install three ceiling fans with lights. It took two days for him to complete the work even though assisted by two helpers. After the work was done I discovered that the fans and lighting did not work off the switches that originally operating the fans that were replaced and they could only be turned on and off by remote. Additionally, when operating by remote, if the lights were turned on in one room, they were turned on in another. I called Mr. Zale to have him rectify this and he arrived some days later, not quite as pleasant as he was when he wanted my business originally. He told me that it could not be done. I have learned since that this is not so and that they were not installed properly...period.I would not recommend him and I would urge anyone NOT to you him for any of your handyman needs.
Our home was recently built by Chris Evans, one of the partners at Orion. He did a wonderful job. Even after the final walk thru, moving in, when you've lived in it for a while and begin to find things, Chris promptly addressed any and all of my concerns in a professional manner each time. I am very happy we chose Orion to build our home. I would highly recommend them not only for new construction but any type of restoration service you may need as they are experts in that field as well.
