First of all we are from Michigan our son goes to college in Stillwater. Apparently the dealership does not have the convenience of modern technology. Our son brought his car there for an estimate on a vandalized window, they kept the vehicle overnight. Why? Anyway after about 3 days my son got back to them and reported to us. I understand some of the issues were lack of communication, between our son and the dealership. In total after the whole ordeal they had our sons car for a little over 3 weeks..When they received payment finally from our insurance Co. they would not release the vehicle due to the check made out in my name and husbands name along with dealership name. Service manager told us to get a notarized letter saying it was okay for son to sign our names and to fax it over. Then that was not acceptable, jezz, making us jump through hoops to get this, you would think it was for a million dollars, it was only $800. So this was on a Friday of course. We had to get a cash advance on a Master Card, wire the money to our sons account and then he took out a bank draft check on the following Monday, the next day he went to pay for it. My insurance lady had spoke to the service manager on ripping up the check they received. He was to fax a copy of the paid receipt to her when my son picked up the car, to cut a new check out to us so we could get reimbursed. We are talking Christmas time here, everyone needs that extra cash. So my son gets the car on Tuesday, my insurance co. calls me on Friday again, worried she has not gotten a fax of the receipt yet. I told her my son picked the car up Tuesday and I had him call and remind the guy to fax the receipt. She and I can't believe the nerve of these people.
I have to wait til Monday again and call. I ask to speak to the service manager and the girl says she will have to have him call me back. I said he won't though. He is very rude and this whole process has taken too long. She had to hear the whole story, and ear full. She apologized on behalf of the dealership, I said ,she should not have to, if these people would just do their dang, (used different word at the time) job. She faxed the copy of the receipt and called me back and had it all done in a matter of 10 minutes. I said these men in her service department along with the owner do not like to deal with women that they were very rude. Maybe because we were from Michigan.. We would not recommend this dealership ever...
