Awesome Yard

Last fall I had a pool installed in my back yard, when the pool was finished everything was tore up from all the equipment. I called Green Acre Sod to come in and tell me what my options were. They introduced me to a type of grass I had never heard of called Zoysia. It was very thick and plush and worked great in shade and sun. They had told me they had actually installed my neighbors yard a few years back with it, which looked great.

Within a week we had a great looking yard to finish the touch of our new Pool.

Very pleased, would use again.

Best contractor to work with

I recently remodeled my house and had a terrible time with the contractors. The project took for ever! The last thing to get done was the sod. I thought it would be the last nightmare to finish the project, but I was wrong. Green Acres came in when they said, brought in good grass, completed the job in 2 hours, and came in under the estimate. By far the best contractor I had.

Two weeks after our bermuda so...

Two weeks after our bermuda sod was installed by Green Acre Sod Store in Stillwater, the grass hatched thousands of striped blister beetles. The sod was installed in a cleared area around a newly built home, a few acres away from our pastures. We raise horses, dogs, and sheep, and blister beetles are toxic to these animals. The Green Acre manager denied responsibility. We've had to spray at our expense, and hope that the beetles do not migrate to our pastures. These are the first blister beetles we've had on our farm. We won't purchase from Green Acres Sod Store ever again.
