Not sure what this lady had problems with but I have also purchased many cars/suv from Big John, and he has always taken care of me. You are buying used cars at cheap prices, your going to have problems. I have had stuff break after buying and mentioned to him, and he has offered to pay either for the part, of the labor, where else can you buy a used car with no warranty that will do that? Also takes payments without charging interest, so I’d say he’s helping people out!
Excellent service! Don and his staff are awesome, they went beyond the call of duty for me! Thanks again sunset motors, looking forward to doing business with you again.
I will never take my vehicle to this place again. Needed the starter replaced. They took 3 days to tell us it would not act up for them. Finally told us it acted up but was too late in the day to get the repair approved (Friday at 5pm). So we waited until Monday only to be told, they misspoke. The car hadn't acted up so they couldn't fix it. I should have checked these reviews first. Terrible service.
Deceitful, unethical, total disregard for customer service. Do not patronize this place. You'll regret it
They seem nice, but I was warned by co-workers that they are scam artists that try to over-correct mechanical issues. Tried to charge me $1,800+ for repairs that included replacing a ton of lines throughout the Jeep, took it to Sears Auto and they laughed and fixed the issue for $245. That was my story, and it's similar stories with my co-workers. They WILL find ways to over-charge you.... I do not know this is true of the sales department, but stay away from the service department if your warranties have ended.
My hubby n I bought a really nice vehicle from here. The gentleman was very very nice, helpful n resourceful. He wasnt pushy n just trying to sell me a car. We need one but wanted something to haul a trailer, hold more than 5 people, that was; comfortable, roomy, easy on gas; had to be either a car or suv that didnt ride like a tank. The Sales people are very polite, helpful to the buyer, very easy going, fix any issues that arise with ease. If they dont know the answer to a question then they will work to find the answer. Anytime I have had an issue, I call with questions or to make an appointment, they get right on it. I can either take it down the same day if they arent busy or they get it in asap. I have always gotten smething to drive in return until mine is fixed. You CAN'T get that from any other dealership that I know of!! My salesman, Gene, is a awesome person that has been very helpful since we bought my Crossover in December 2013. He didnt push us to buy anything, helped us to figure out some options, look at vehicles we were looking for instead of trying to "shove" us into anything we didnt want or didnt tell us "no we cant do that vehicle for you with your kind of credit"! We have been told that before, pushed into something we didnt want and was belittled by Columbiana Ford!!! I highly recommend going to State Park Motors for any vehicle! All of their sales people are wonderful!
I went to Big Johns Auto and met the owner Big John and his son Little John. They were friendly and helpful. I am on a fix income and could only afford a certain amount for a payment and they extended the months of payments so that it would fix my budget better. The car has been a reliable car. i have had the car for over a year and the only things that i have had to do with it was regular upkeep. Breaks rotors oil change and tune up. All and all it was a great experience dealing with Big John and his help. They were all respectful and nice.
I love the fact that the lot is open wide variety of cars keys in the door free carfax s like they hide nothing. No pressure sales. Dislikes that not all cars on lot have been looked over but still up for sale. Great staff
Worked with me to get me into the car I wanted. Check prices before going know what should cost
I took my car there in may 2013 for a tie rod going bad and a/c issues. its February 2014 and that a/c part is still on back order through their supplier but AutoZone has it. In November 2013 I was driving on the highway and my tie rod broke and I almost wrecked. I looked and found that it was not fixed. They told me that had record of my car being there but now record of it getting fixed. what the hell did they do with it for 8 hours? The service guy got all defense and tried to shift the blame away from them. Because of them, I will never own a dodge. worst service dept I've ever seen. I'll stick with ford or chevy because team had a more qualified and competent service dept.
