The absolute WORST delivery experience I've ever had, and the rudest, most disrespectful employees around. I ordered a new Samsung refrigerator and dishwasher from Home Depot on Black Friday and scheduled delivery for early December. First attempt - rescheduled for no apparent reason. Second attempt - they set up the fridge, then looked under my sink and announced that they couldn't install the dishwasher because the valve was rusty and I needed to hire a plumber to get it fixed. OK, but they refused to take the dishwasher back unless I also gave the fridge back because they were on the same delivery ticket! So they convinced me to keep the dishwasher and call after the plumber fixed the valve to reschedule installation, but did not take the dishwasher out of the box to inspect for damage. When Crew #2 came back for the third attempt, they disconnected my old dishwasher, then took the new one out of the box and found that it was damaged. However, because it was "outside the 72 hour window" (what?) I had to go through Samsung for a replacement. They left the new, broken dishwasher outside on my patio, attempted to reconnect the old dishwasher (causing a leak in the process), and left after telling me to call if there were problems. I called and left messages TWICE about the leak - no response. I finally got an automated call stating that a delivery was scheduled for the next day, which turned out to be the replacement dishwasher from Samsung. However (attempt #4) - they were no shows. I called them, waited half an hour on hold, and was finally told that they had again taken me off the schedule FOR NO APPARENT REASON!!! Samsung rescheduled delivery for the following week (attempt #5), and again they didn't show up. Now they claim delivery is scheduled for tomorrow and they don't have notes in their system showing that delivery was ever set up for today. I am so done. Going to Home Depot tonight to end this nightmare and cancel the order.
Terrible! They were a week later than promised and then didn't show at the time promised. When they finally arrived they had surly attitudes, damaged the cabinet where they were to install the washer and to top it off took two of my pipe caps and hose clamps with them when they left. Also the phone number they left doesn't work. What an outfit.
Unfortunately, I have to echo what was said in the previous comments. I was shocked by how the behavior and speech of the installation guy, Alberto. He called me 10 minutes before delivery, instead of The Home Depot requirement of 30 minutes, and then left without delivering it.When I pointed this out to him, he was defensive, rude and insulting.
Chris is a great guy to do business with. Very professional, careful and responsible. I would definitely recommend him to a friend - as a matter of fact, I have done that several times already!
This is probably the worst, unprofessional imbeciles I have ever worked with. I had ordered an LG washer and Dryer from JCpenney on Oct 5 with the original delivery scheduled for Oct 22. Today is Nov 4 and my Washer n Dryer are still not installed after 4 visits from these guys. To top it off one of the installers gave serious attitude and threatened me because I asked them to cover their shoes before carrying the machine on my new hardwood floors. The worst of all every time these guys come to my place they always have some excuse to not install. Infact my Washer n Dryer were damaged in delivery process and I'm left to deal with the manafacturer to get the units replaced. Because of this horrendous experience I'm cancelling my order with JCpenney and going to other dealers and checking if they do business with these @$#!. If they do, not buying products from the dealers at all. I can't believe such people exist in this country...these guys also cuss in spanish when they come to deliver knowing very well I don't speak the language.
Arrived on time. Took excellent care of my furniture. Maintained communication leading up to moving day.
Completely damaged our furniture and lost items. The owner, Chris is rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. He doesn't want to take responsibility for damages items, some of which were antique and told me my items were "expensive dust collectors". I will be taking the matter to the BBB as well as filing in court. He's a complete crook!!
Wow. What a bad experience. I don't do negative reviews and never do personally negative reviews but this is so bad that I don't want others to have a similar experience. If you need garbage removal Chris is fine but do not have him move anything.First, he moved us on a Sunday which was fine. But, then told us - after the fact - that there was a 4-hour minimum for weekend work. I wish he would have told us in advance but fair enough, it was Sunday. It was 45 minutes of work.Second, we hired him to move some fragile items that did not come over in our primary move. We specifically had 12 lego buildings and 3 Kinect sculptures that are important to my son. I thought it was odd when he didn't wrap anything in paper or use boxes - just started loading into his trailer. Every single piece was destroyed - literally every single one. I don't mean a couple of pieces fell off - I mean there was a pile of legos on the floor of our home. Also, destroyed a glass lampshade - again no wrapping. It was so bad that it was funny. I took pictures and attached to review.Unfortunately, when Chris was done, I did not go and look at everything and paid him in full, with the weekend premium, and a 20% tip on top of it. I guess I am a sucker. When I saw what happened I called Chris and discussed the absurdity of the move. He told me that his worker did the damage and that he doesn't use boxes (strange for a mover to not use boxes) but he handled it well and we agreed that he would send me a check for 50% back. Considering the horrid work, I thought that was very fair. I have all of the texts and happy to share if you are considering working with this guy.So, two weeks go by and no check. I texted him and he said "next week". Two more weeks go by and still nothing - he texted that he was short on cash but thought the following week. Then last week, he stopped responding to my texts. Again, can share texts with you. I have written off the few hundred dollars in question but want to warn others. Unprofessional with no packing or boxes. Beyond atrocious quality work. Misled on weekend estimate. Lied to me about paying me. Now, he won't respond. I can't imagine a worse experience. Stay away.
