I signed up for a day pass for 8/5/2015, subsequently arrived about approximately 9:30ishThis was one of the most offensive; yet boaderline prejudice locations I have visited. As an military service woman I have encontoured environments from Middle East to Southern USA to MidWest to Asia to Europe. However the various forms of prejudices Is expected in be places for mentioned above; but was not expected to encounter such an experience in Sterling VA. Not only were the three various attendants rude, but when asked about wifi connections one of them just through the paper in front of me. when asked about services offered another simply three then paper in front of me. after working out for over an hour once leaving I looked both attendants dead in the face and smiled and not one said have a good day or even come back again or even offered me memberships All I can say is this complaint will also be sent to the Department of Commerce, FCC as well all minority syndicates within the DMV Metro Area!
1.On two (2) separate occasions I have left notes and messages for you at your Baltimore and Silver Spring locations asking for a return call, all to no avail.2.One eleven (11) separate occasions I have called and left messages to your managers and to Teddy Carr asking him to please contact me regarding changes to your hours of operation at Spunk Fitness located at 21620 Ridgetop Circle, Sterling, VA 20166. As of this date, he has ignored all of my request. (One response I received from your staff was that it was duck season and he was therefore, too busy!)3.Without prior notification to members, the hours of operation were made changes from 24 hours of operation during the week to closing at 11:00. 4.A key factor for joining Spunk Fitness was the 24 hour operation selling point by your staff at the time of signing on with Spunk Fitness. This factor was essential because of my busy work schedule during the day and my evenings often occupied caring for my 89 year old mother. Your changes now makes it impossible to work out at times convenient to my demanding schedule.5.Moreover, I now have in question Spunk Fitness’ customer service orientation as it is evident you do not value my patronage given your lack of responsiveness to my respective request for a phone call. Since my joining Spunk Fitness, I have witnessed several critical events from employees from having elicit activities with customers and non-members to many security concerns. However, when members show up to workout at 12:00 midnight only to discover the hours of operation have been changed with no prior notification and a blatant disregard for even a phone call, this creates a true breach of confidence in your customer service and the integrity of your organization.
Man I love this place, I enjoy myself everytime I come. The price is unbeatable for what they provide. Staff is professional and friendly definetly managed well, great layout DON'T CHANGE A THING.
Great gym a lot of my friends go there. They have quality equipment and it is always very clean. The TV's are awesome!!
No complaints here, love the gym. The staff is more than accomidating the equipment is always clean and in good working order. The gym has a very friendly and warm atmophere. It has great hours.
The staff helped out when asked. Spunk has a wide assortment of machines. They also have multiple sets of weights so I never have to wait.
The locker rooms are kept nice. I like the ceiling mounted tv's when I do cardio. Spunk is always a comfortable climate (temp) inside
