a terrible experience

We really splurged and had granite countertops put in our kitchen and guest bathroom. S&A installed the granite. They cracked my Blanco kitchen sink and told me I had to replace it. After the installation and the bill was paid, I discovered a large chip on the edge of the countertop that had been repaired. Can you imagine, I paid a few thousand dollars for a chip countertop!! S&A also drilled the bathroom faucet hole to close to the sink, so you could see the hole in front of the faucet. When I discussed both problems with S&A, they basically told me it was my problem and would do nothing about it. I highly recommend NOT using S&A Granite

We at S&A Granite, would like to address this comment. Although, sometimes unforeseen issues do happen during fabrication and installation, when dealing with natural stone, which has natural vein and grain to it, chips in stone may happen during the cutting process. Grade 'C' material, which is what this customer requested, has natural glass and crystal details, which just like any stone, can loosen in its setting. This customer was well aware of this and did understand that these higher grade materials, like their Grade C material, can sometimes be a bit temperamental and soft to work with. However, we at S&A stand behind our work and if ever a customer is not satisfied with our work or installation, we will do whatever it takes to correct any issues. We appreciate any reviews and feedback, as our customers satisfaction is our top priority. S&A is a family owned and operated company and will never, ‘not’ address and or correct any issues that an unhappy customer relays to S&A. However, there is only a few things you can do to fill or repair natural stone, it is, at the end of the day, natural stone. We cannot foresee any structural flaws with the customer chosen slab. We are concerned with the fact that this customer is not satisfied with their countertops, but we will always work with the customer to ensure they are 100% satisfied with their new investment. We apologize for your dissatisfaction.
