I was greeted at the door by friendly, happy staff. My family and I were seated upstairs in a dark dining area.Everyone commented on how cold it was, and wished that the fireplace was lighted. It was quiet, quite pleasant except for the cold as we ate our delicious and expertly prepared food. That is, until a group was seated at a long table by the window. They were loud, the noise bouncing off the walls was deafening. Everyone hurried through their meals, and by common consent we decided not to order dessert or coffee, preferring to walk down to Beverly Street's popular(and more sedate) ice cream parlor. On our way out, we noticed how diners on the first floor were enjoying their food and conversation in their more quiet location.
