Michael's Pizza is an independently owned carry-out/dine-in pizza shop located in downtown Statham, Georgia on Jefferson Street. Michael's Pizza hopes to become your favorite place to go for great tasting pizza. Michael's Pizza offers thin and traditional American style pizzas, salads, wings, strombolis, and bread twists. With all the current choices for pizza, Michael realized that the area didn't need another pizza placeit just needed a better pizza place. That's why Michael's Pizza takes the time to make its dough fresh, from scratch, and then lets it cold rise for seventy-two hours. The cold temperatures cause the yeast to behave differently and slows down the time it takes for our dough to rise. Slowing down the yeast activity produces a rich, complex flavorful dough and helps create a pizza crust with a better texture. Our sauce is also made on-site with a savory blend of herbs and the freshest just-picked tomatoes from Stanislaus, California. Michael's Pizza uses what we, and most pizza afficianados, consider to be the finest cheese available to top our pizzas. We are generous in our use of toppings and select only the finest meats and vegetables available with a truly flavorful taste. Our goal is to always offer a great product with generous portions in a clean environment while providing over-the-top customer service.
