Fourth Creek Landing Apartments in Statesville, NC

I have lived here for 15 years. It is a nice quite community. The managment and maintence staff are always helpful, and nice. Whenever I have an issue it is taken care of fast and they always check back to make sure I am happy.

We recently moved into Ridgeview Apts. Everyone in the office and maintenance have been awesome. We love it here and plan to stay for the long-term.

This was my first experience with this business and it was a bad experience. I inquired about a 2br apartment that they had advertised on Craigslist. I spoke to Melissa Wise, who replied to my email. She told me that the apartment was currently available. After asking some questions about the apartment, I asked if I could come in and check out the apartment. She told me that "the apartment was being cleaned, and next week would be better." I said okay. I sent another email that following Monday trying to check out the apartment. No response. I waited 2 days, still no reply. I sent another email, again, no reply. I called the next day, no answer. I called again the next day and no answer, so I left a message with my name and number, for a call back. I waited a couple of days, still no email and no call back. Finally I'm searching Craigslist, and I see the same exact apartment listed for $670. When I inquired about that apartment, suddenly, I can get a response, and of course, only at a price higher than what I was originally inquring on. Melissa claims that she was too busy to reply to my previous email and phone calls, and it's first come first serve. I find it interesting, how she was able to reply to someone else, to let them know that the apartment was ready, but I couldn't get a response, with all of my emails and phone calls. If it was first come, first serve, you would follow up with someone that has been actively trying to proceed with trying to move into the apartment. Don't say that the apartment is going to be ready and then let someone else move in, when the other person is already showing interest in the apartment, and then offer them the same type of apartment at a higher price. Bad business..

I have lived at Ridgeview for 3 yrs. The office staff have been nothing but helpful. The maintenance guys are great I have never had to wait on a repair. The grounds are kept beautifully and I'm very happy I chose Ridgeview.

I've lived in a few apartments and there is some good and bad. Most of the time the residents aren't the primary issue, it's the people at the office not actually caring about your happiness. This isn't the case with ridge view. I love it here and will def. stay
