In one year's time, I did not think the condition of this place could get any worse....I was wrong. It was going downhill fast last summer, but this time it's almost unbearable.Start with the lighting...the amount of lighting throughout the place is insignificant, and in some areas just not existent. What lighting there is is weak florescent and not warm and inviting. The selection of games is about half what you would find somewhere comparable. The problem with that is that of that half, about half of those are broken down. Sometimes they would take your token, but then not function. For many others, there were 'Out of Order' signs and several of those were duct taped together. They seem to have purchased bargain basement seconds on the games as they are all old and in bad shape. The batting cage area looks haphazardly assembled in what appeared to be a storage area at one point and has a length of chain link fence for "extra safety" on one side. Probably there because the netting around the enclosure is in disrepair in several places. There is a large indoor jungle gym that seems to be in fairly good structural shape (netting repairs have been made, strapping throughout looks intact), however the padding and landing mats are beyond a maintenance fix! There are tears everywhere...in the jumping area, at least 5 feet of the cushion underneath is exposed (the foam egg-crate-like stuff), shredding within the play area, and is filthy! There is also a hole about 2 feet wide in one of the hammock structures. Way beyond safety standards! The 3 rides they have there are fair, nothing special. My confidence in their safety though is low due to the conditions throughout the rest of the establishment.Overall, the place is about a 5 of 10 on cleanliness. The floors are sticky, the tables aren't clean, the games and rides aren't wiped down at all and in general, there is a bit of a "funk" in the air.Once the kids rack up tickets (form those games that actually did spit them out), they can trade those in for prizes. The prizes are mostly candy, but anything they offer from the higher-end ticket collectors appears to be things they picked up at Good Will...used items...ridiculous. And of course there's only one staff member to assist the 20-something ticket holders in line.Which brings me to the staff...in general, everyone we came into contact with was polite (except the kid in the food area who seemed annoyed that I interrupted whatever he'd been working on in the back). They are EXTREMELY understaffed at this place and there is no indication of who is even an employee. No labeled shirts or uniforms, no name-tags, nothing. There didn't even seem to be a dress code standard, as most of the employees were wearing clothes that you'd make a fast dash through Walmart in.I do hope this place cleans is up because it's a great option for this area on a rainy day. They have a long way to go from becoming a reputable amusement option and giving the feel that you didn't just show up and someone's house in the neighborhood whose teenage children decided to throw a carnival. I do think the health department should pay them a visit though, because the cleanliness and safety concerns are FAR BEYOND acceptable.
