First the good, my daughter bought her dress here in 2002 as did several of her friends during that time. it was a wonderful experience, everything came in on time, alterations were done, etc. So, when my Goddaughter was engaged we said Frils and Fancies was the place to go. We went last Saturday and I thought I was in a different universe. The "consultant" had no clue what she was doing, there were very few dresses to try on and when we asked about a veil to go with one dress we were told they really didn't have much. The bride is a 5'10" size 6 so that should not have been a problem. They had virtually no stock to try on, no one knew when or if there would be more coming in and when the bride tried on one she really liked it had a make up stain on it and the consultant wanted to sell it to her as is. We were also told they do not offer alterations. I don't know what has happened to this business, but I do know we left and went two blocks away where we were treated, without an appointment, like royalty, bought a dress in the $1,500 range and alterations are included. What a shame.

This business is ran by a bunch of rude people who could care less about there customers i was the bridesmaid of the last review who was told i can assure you scott wont help you wow i have never felt so disrespected in my life i work in retail and im an assistent manager so i know customer service and you never tell a customer that the manager wont speak to them. Wedding dress shopping is suppose to be a great experience she is shopping for her big day frills by scott made her feel bad about herself and uncomfortable. i just wont everyon to know that if you go here to shop you wont get helped and if you do they will just treat you like a burden. scott is a joke of a shop owner and could care less about his customers go to the bridal shop main street bridal she is the sweetest lady and will be happy to help you with anything. My friend and the rest of her bridal party will not return and will tell everyone we know will make it known on all social media that this store is terrible terrible employees terrible management rude managers overall terrible experience.

My friend, who is getting married, and i (along with the rest of her bridal party and mother) were in the store on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Arrived on time for our appointment and were greeted by no one once in the store. Finally someone sent us up the elevator to the bridal floor where we were for several mins before the "bridal consultant" met us. She was an older woman, who off the bat didn't seem very interested in helping. Once we looked around and she found some dresses to try on, they went off to the fitting room... Where this woman did NOT help her put on dresses and even told her that she couldn't try some on because they were a size to small. (Anyone who has ever tried on wedding dresses or even watched the dress shows knows that you need help to put these dresses on). She made my friend almost cry and she even had to call her mother into the dressing room to help her because the attendant would not. When unhappy with our service one of our girls went to the bottom floor to see if we couldn't get another girl upstairs to help or even talk to Scott the owner and she was told that Scott would not help and that was it. Soon after we left. It was a terrible experience, the girls that work their are snobby and rude and apparently Scott doesn't care what they do or how they treat potential clients. You expect much more from somewhere you are going to spend several thousand dollars on one garment. Our entire group will never return and will spread the word of the nasty service or lack of service. Very disappointing.

Dont go

I was told by a man with dark hair, glasses, slime, and rude that I needed to buy one of the tree dresses my oldest child was trying on or live. I did not believe my ears how rude this man was he disgraced me in front of the store and me a very upstanding woman! I told him that I would never come back and he told me that’s fin don’t come back!!!! It was the worst place I have ever been in my life and I will never go back!!!! Disgraceful / Humiliating / PLEAS! Someone needs to do something about this man it was uncalled for in every way. I am a 54 year old woman and he was very rude making me live like he did!

I am the owner of this store and take reviews very seriously. I appreciate constructive feedback and ask for it often from my customers. In this instance, I have no idea who this person is or what she is talking about. Maybe she reviewed the wrong store. I don't know. I can assure anyone who reads this that Frills & Fancies does not conduct business the way described above. Anyone who has any questions is free to call me personally at 912-764-9545.
