You could be held accountable for these charges.We ask for all disputes to be put in writing within 30 days from receiving the statement. If we do not receive an answer within this time period. DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS!!!!!!!We rented a house from Kelly Properties in Statesboro located on Harden Road to only discover that the house was infested with bedbugs. We were blamed for the infestion when we told them about them they did have the house treated, but the bedbug problem was never resolved. After 2- 3 treatments they refused to have the house treated again, but he could recommed us to someome. Bill Kelly even had the never to make a joke about it and say "it's no fun being ate up is it". After some research we found out the the people that live in the house before us moved out for the same reason. We had to leave the house and stay at hotels and leave our belongs behind because they were so bad, and we couldn't take or belongs with us because of the bugs. Now he wants to sue us for back rent and damages to the outside of the house when he knows we are not living there and has talked to us about it. We only have our furniture there and treating it ourselves before we can move it our of fear of transporting the bugs. Some things we are going to have to throw away and start all over again with. If you don't value your sanity and don't mind losing sleep at night from fighting bedbuds, or you and your kids being ate up then have at it. OTHERWISE DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never had any problems with the staff here and I continue to renew my lease every year.
Stayed here for a few months and the landlord aggressively stormed into my apartment screaming that I had my boyfriend living there with me when he was not. I canceled my lease because you don't treat people that way who are paying you. Come to find out these hillbillies had a meth lab in their complex. Maybe if they weren't so worried about my boyfriend coming over they would have noticed that they had drug dealers living in their building. I really wish the place would've blown up.
Avoid this realty company at all costs. The apartment was fine but they will charge you fraudulent move out charges once you move out. Had multiple issues with them during our lease term. They resolved some and ignored others. At move in, our apartment was dirty, damaged, and the air conditioner barely worked. At move out I had cleaned the apartment three times better than it was when we moved in and had replaced multiple damaged items with our own money. They literally made up move out charges for replacing this and cleaning that. No chance given for a move out inspection with them. After disputing in writing move out charges they dropped the carpet cleaning charge but left the rest. Ignored all reasons given for why their charges were fraudulent. Now we must pay hundreds of dollars in move out charges in 30 days or they will start the collection process. I know there are not many options for rental companies in Statesboro but they are the worst I've encountered.
DO NOT SIGN A LEASE.. I have lived here for a year and there is always break in, gun shots happening. management will tell you that we are available 24/7 but if u call them anytime, they are not reachable. This is one horrifying experience for me to stay in this apartment. I had many sleepless nights. They even threw my stuff without contacting me and when I was informed by roommates, I called them and they started lying about sending me emails (NEVER RECEIVED) and they threw my all important and expensive stuff without my consent.I would appreciate everyone- not to come here else u will suffer like I do. they have low rents because they suck so much. If I could give it a 0 rating, I would have done it.

The management here sucks. They allow their residents to soak other resident's dog with super soakers and then when you go to call and complain, they conveniently have a meeting to go to and reuse to talk to you on the excuse the phone reception is bad. I'm sorry, I can see that I have full service so get out of here with your crappy excuses. they also choose to do nothing when your neighbors are yelling and screaming as loud as they can at 4 in the morning when I have work early in the morning. You do NOT want to live here unless your only other option is to live on the streets and even then personally, I would pick the streets.
I've lived at the Garden District for two years now, and I would recommend it for any college student. Every apartment is what you make of it and I've had many compliments on how nice our townhome is. On top of that, I've never had any neighbor problems and the montane team fixes anything that is broken within one or two days! I also met my now best friend, Sydney, thanks to their roommate matching system.
I haven't even completely moved in yet, and I'm already VERY worried about how this year is going to be. First of all, the office staff is AWFUL. They are rude, disorganized, lazy and not the least bit helpful. Every single person I've had a question for has had a horrible attitude and has acted as if I'm wasting their time. Guess what? It's your JOB to answer residents' questions.The staff DOES NOT look at the roommate matching forms you spend time filling out, so don't bother. I was originally placed with two people that were admittedly drug users (it was plastered all over their Facebook pages), and the front office basically called me a racist when I requested roommates I would actually be compatible with. They kept telling me they would have my new roommate assignment done "tomorrow," and when I would call (per their request) to check on the status of the change, they were rude and said, "you don't understand how busy we've been with the number of people complaining about their roommates." Well, gee, maybe if the assignments had been done properly to begin with, there wouldn't be an issue. Also, only one of my roommates was allowed to move in. She has been there by herself for quite some time now, but my other roommate and I are not allowed to move in until the 19th of August - one day before classes start. When my roommate moved in, there was a gaping hole in our wall that has since been poorly patched over, there was writing all over the walls inside and outside of the apartment, there are paint splatters all over the "hardwood" floors (which I'm not entirely sure are even laminate, let alone hardwood), two of the bathrooms have extended counter space while the other two hardly have any counter space at all, my roommates were promised stainless steel appliances and received standard black appliances with a broken microwave (the front panel is literally hanging off), they have already raised my roommate's monthly rental rate by $36 without warning, the dryer is hardly functional, the 42 inch tv you pay for with the premium rate is nowhere to be found, the apartment is MUCH smaller than the model apartment which is supposedly the exact same as others of the same 4 bedroom floorplan, the layout is entirely different than the model apartment, there are roaches and ants that were not taken care of despite my roommate requesting to have them sprayed, and maintenance entered the apartment one day and left the front door unlocked and open when they left. In addition to all of that, they told one of my roommates that she could move in once the carpet in her room had been cleaned... We have a so-called "premium" unit with no carpet in any of the rooms. Needless to say, I am terrified of what my leasing term will bring. Hopefully the management will open their eyes and at least realize how horrible and useless their office staff is. They are unprofessional and unfriendly at best!
