My daughter has been going there for 2 years and absolutely loves it! She is so happy going and so happy when she comes home and tells us how much fun she has. She also does the art class there and brings home such precious art work and she is so excited to show it off to us. The staff and the owner Maria are very hands on with the kids and are truly great people. Highly recommend this school and their art classes!!!!!
Terrible daycare provider. I had found Lilia, whom is the daycare owner of happy face daycare in the yellow pages and decided to call and ask her if she was part of the voucher program. She said yes so I made my way to her daycare and decided to use her services using the voucher welfare had approved me for based on my low-income. I had taken an unpaid leave of absence from work to find adajate care for my child, which Lilia was aware of. After signing a contract and my child attended her daycare for one week, I decided to return to work. A few hours before I had to report back to work, Lilia called my phone to tell me the voucher, which she was aware of the amount they paid long before I came to her daycare, does not pay enough and all the other parents that are part of the voucher program pay her extra on the side and if I did not pay her the exorbitant amount of money she demanded, on top of the money the voucher program pays her, that I cannot bring my son in as agreed upon. Due to her lack of consideration and complete disregard to my financial situation and contract we signed, I was forced to call out of work and ultimately resign from my job because I had to begin the process of finding a daycare for my child all over again. Eventhough welfare was paying Lilia, I decided to remove my child from her daycare. She is money hungry and will try to manipulate you to believe she is the best daycare there is and when she thinks she has you she goes against the contract and tells you she wants more and more money. She is a scam artist. Also, I witnessed her husband handling children in her daycare. I requested paperwork on every person cleared by the state to be apart of her daycare but was never given any. My child is non verbal so it is imperative that I know who is coming in and out and handling my child at all times. Being a single mother with limited income and resources, this was a terrible experience.
My sweet boy has been in the hands of the wonderful staff of this daycare since he was 3 months old. Leaving a baby at that age was tough but knowing that he was well looked after and cared for made the transition easy. The amazingly professional and nurturing staff members on Playgroup have accommodated my son's schedule, genuinely kept him engaged, and really made him feel loved and nurtured. These ladies are very responsive, the provided me with updates about my son and brainstormed ways we can accommodate his ever changing needs. I saw that they were responsible with their duties, always taking refresher courses in safety. If you're looking for someone to care for your child in a meaningless and genuine way, I highly recommend Playgroup Experience.
My daughter has been going to this new daycare for 2 months and she just loves spending time with Naomi, the owner of this wonderful homely daycare. Unlike other crowded and congested daycare, Naomi's house is just perfect for kids like mine. She is well organized, maintains a clean environment every time, keeps a track of every single detail that my kid has done throughout the day, sends me pic and videos often to ensure that she is safe and happy while I am at work, cooks fresh meals and feeds her until she became independent which she is now. The most important aspect of her daycare is that she allows only few children at her daycare so that she can give more attention to all of them. Her approach is so professional that you would trust her just like one of your family member. She is a caring and a loving mother who takes care of her own daughter at the same time as she watches over mine. As opposed to other daycare centers where you have a list of items to be sent, she only asked me to get her change of diapers and a set of dress every time I drop my kid which is so convenient. If you are looking for a home based daycare and wants to get all the attention your kid misses when you are away, Livi's daycare is your choice!!!
Great place to have your children in. I have my son there for close to 3 years now, and I cannot be more happy with this place.
I am a mother of two young kids, and I use Tangies kids as my daycare services, I am happy to say that I am pleased with her services. I would recommend her services to anyone who needs child care.sussan
The owner for sure is cheap with maintaining the house. Her classrooms could use an update but the level of care that my daughter (now 2 1/2) has recieved from them since she was 5 months old is worth it.
I LOVE The Wonder Years Preschool!!! My daughter has attended for 1.5 years and I cannot say enough good things about them. The teachers are warm and nurturing, the director is welcoming and easy to speak with. I truly wish that they had a grade 1-12 program so my child wouldn't have to go anywhere else.
My daughter is about 14 months, I have tried other Daycares but what made this one different from other ones is there open door policies compared to some other ones on Staten Island where you cant go in and check it out. The lady is sweet and warm hearted just what I was looking for in my daughters first experienece.plus the lady who's there to help her very sweet.
This place is first class all the way! the building may be old and worn looking but the staff is stellar and the care is fantastic! Never a worry since I have left my three year old there and now my 2 month treasure is there as well. I cannot share what peace of mind I have with my sweeties there. The staff is kind and loving and answer all concerns no matter large or small. The place is always clean and the door is always open for unannounced visits. I love the special events and the learning that goes on.
