Disappointed at the customer service we received here. We asked for the nails to get fixed they obliged (not kindly), and gave us 20 mins of their time. They didn't repaint or fix the errors. The nails were lumpy and disgusting. The woman who yelled at us kept on telling us how we were wrong. Yet the pictures attached you can clearly see the kind of service you're going to get here. They did give us 15 dollars back to fix it else where but any good place would've done a full refund or corrected it right then and there! You want to keep your customers happy not unhappy. A good review gets noticed by 30 people however a bad one is with you forever. Just look at the pictures for yourself. These were taken minutes after we complained and got no satisfactory service in return. They are rude and unprofessional! Unhygienic not using gloves during a pedicure. I am not sure if that is required but I will be letting the New York City commerce and health department know that they are unqualified here.
Never again over priced they add extra things without asking and then charge you for it i specifically asked for acrylic they gave me gel she got angry because i did not want really short nails i asked for a design and she made me google designs which she then tried to copy and failed miserably they gave me the option of picking between only 20 colors most of which were no good 3 days later i had 4 broken nails 3 days?! For $88 smh
I went there simply to have gel polish removed have my nails trimmed and filed and clear nail polish put on. I started with 1 person who bailed out when someone needed a pedicure. I was offended by that as it did not seem like that person had an appointment so why couldn't she have waited? The shape of my nails is awful it looks like a saw was used to trim them. The clear polish was dull, I told the manicurist it looked bad but she did not know what I was talking about. I ran out of there so quick I did not even let them dry! My first and last time at this salon.
Awful This was not what I was expecting. The owner was rude and nasty and not willing to adjust her ridiculous pricing. I went in for a gel manicure and a pedicure - NOT TIPS and nothing fancy. I did however have a simple design with 3 lines on 2 fingers and they charged me $90.00. When I questioned the owner and told her that was ridiculous I always pay about $50.00 she said well you have detailed design - I said it is 3 lines not complicated. Well I usually charge a little more - I gave you a $5.00 break. Are you serious?? After I told her what I usually pay and my thoughts on how expensive and overly priced they were - she said nothing and just walked away. How Rude - you own a business and don't even know how to treat a customer. Sad and pitiful. Even people inside the nail salon waiting - looked at me and said that is ridiculous. They had people waiting in there for hours, meanwhile the owner herself was not assisting any clients. The girl who did my nails didn't speak much English, but she did try to do a good job on my nails and was very nice. She apologized to me for the owners behavior - not the owner.
My nails only lasted 6 days. And I paid 50 dollars for my nails.
I got a french manicure and it was the worst manicure I have ever received. Not only did my nails all look different, some were completely messed up and the woman said "oh it's okay." It wasn't even 24 hours before they all started chipping. Will never go here again.
This nail salon is fabulous. The women who work there are so caring. The manicures are awesome, they do fantastic pedicures with very relaxing chairs. They take extra time with scrub. They have great prices, and they have special spa packages. Totally worth it, and their place is always meticulously clean and smells good!
I was a faithful customer for the last year. The girls that work at Nail Land are always nice and do a good job. Amy, the owner, is not nice and not a good business woman. I took my daughters, ages 9 & 11. I also referred my family and friends. My daughters and I went this past weekend to get manis/pedis. My older daughter and I got gel manis and regular pedis. However, my older daughter got a single sweep of glitter on one nail. Not a design. I asked that my younger daughter get a child's mani/pedi. When I got to the register to pay, the total was exorbitant. I questioned it. Amy told me that my younger daughter is 9, so she cannot get the child's mani/pedi. Therefore, the charge is $20 to polish her toes!!!! Amy also told me that it's $5 per nail to have a sweep of glitter nail polish!!!! I told Amy that was totally unfair. Amy told me that she would charge me for a child, but that the cut off age is 8. Amy also told me that glitter nail polish is considered a design.Do not go to this nail salon. Amy is DISGUSTING!!!! She is price gouging. She is taking advantage of people. Just a horrible experience. Amy needs a lesson in business. DO NOT GIVE AMY YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
Heinous customer "service" from Michelle, one of the partners/owners. She is incredibly, breathtakingly rude. Went in several times but today was the last straw. She pushed my knees out of her way instead of asking me to move, yanked my hands toward her, grabbed my purse out of my lap. Never again. Giving it two stars only because everyone else there is lovely, especially the young ladies who give pedicures. I feel sorry for them.
I was very happy with my experience at Salon Nouveau. I have been to a few different salons and never left completely satisfied. I had color and cut with Louise and she did exactly what is was looking to have done. All the workers were very friendly and I would feel comfortable sitting in anyone's chair. I'm happy I finally found a good professional salon!
