This is the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. I was told by a friend to go see Linda for a gel manicure because she’s really good. I made an appointment and went in at the time I was given. I sat down to wait and an older man (the owner)sat down and started filing my gel off. His hands were dirty, had cracks and what looked like fungus in his nails. I was utterly grossed out and used Purell after he was done. Then an older woman came and started doing my nails. I asked if she is Linda and she said yes. From start to finish, I was rushed, she tried to get away with putting color on top of a bit of my old gel, and she was rough. Completely unprofessional. That night, three of my nails chipped. When I told my friend and described “Linda” she said that was Sue, the owner who did my nails and not Linda. The owner lied, or just didn’t care enough to hear my question. I went back to get my nails fixed and finally got the real Linda. When I told her the story, the creepy man with the gross hands called me a liar and a bastard. He told Linda she can only buff the chips, but if I soak I have to pay again. Poor Linda did a great job and my nails look better now then when they were originally done by Sue. Don’t go to this place. There are so many other options... why go to a place where you’ll be disrespected and harassed?

Disappointed at the customer service we received here. We asked for the nails to get fixed they obliged (not kindly), and gave us 20 mins of their time. They didn't repaint or fix the errors. The nails were lumpy and disgusting. The woman who yelled at us kept on telling us how we were wrong. Yet the pictures attached you can clearly see the kind of service you're going to get here. They did give us 15 dollars back to fix it else where but any good place would've done a full refund or corrected it right then and there! You want to keep your customers happy not unhappy. A good review gets noticed by 30 people however a bad one is with you forever. Just look at the pictures for yourself. These were taken minutes after we complained and got no satisfactory service in return. They are rude and unprofessional! Unhygienic not using gloves during a pedicure. I am not sure if that is required but I will be letting the New York City commerce and health department know that they are unqualified here.
I went there simply to have gel polish removed have my nails trimmed and filed and clear nail polish put on. I started with 1 person who bailed out when someone needed a pedicure. I was offended by that as it did not seem like that person had an appointment so why couldn't she have waited? The shape of my nails is awful it looks like a saw was used to trim them. The clear polish was dull, I told the manicurist it looked bad but she did not know what I was talking about. I ran out of there so quick I did not even let them dry! My first and last time at this salon.
Awful This was not what I was expecting. The owner was rude and nasty and not willing to adjust her ridiculous pricing. I went in for a gel manicure and a pedicure - NOT TIPS and nothing fancy. I did however have a simple design with 3 lines on 2 fingers and they charged me $90.00. When I questioned the owner and told her that was ridiculous I always pay about $50.00 she said well you have detailed design - I said it is 3 lines not complicated. Well I usually charge a little more - I gave you a $5.00 break. Are you serious?? After I told her what I usually pay and my thoughts on how expensive and overly priced they were - she said nothing and just walked away. How Rude - you own a business and don't even know how to treat a customer. Sad and pitiful. Even people inside the nail salon waiting - looked at me and said that is ridiculous. They had people waiting in there for hours, meanwhile the owner herself was not assisting any clients. The girl who did my nails didn't speak much English, but she did try to do a good job on my nails and was very nice. She apologized to me for the owners behavior - not the owner.
My nails only lasted 6 days. And I paid 50 dollars for my nails.
I have never been to a business that has such low le standards in customer service..the tattoo artist Irma was an hour late...,the owner was constantly interrupting my conversation with the tattoo artist...anyone considering a tatto should consider Ron and daves on manor road for a real great experience in tattoo artistry, again ink stained is the worse tattoo company on Staten Island...o rating in customer satisfaction, poor attention to detail..,
Dissapoontment isn't the word... Erma...the tattoo artist was an hour late..the owner fought with me over scheduling another tattoo...what business fights with customers? Bar none the worse business on Staten Island, anyone considering this place should consider a more professional place..this place is dirty and not professional at all...worse place on the island...
Ink Stain Tattoo impressed me from the Front desk(Tim) to The "Artist" Teddy did an amazing job on 2 Pieces and More to Come!!!!!!!!
Absolutely worth trying this place. Im a guy and go for a pedicureevery 2 months. I have my usual spot and saw this place had opened. Very nice staff. Very clean and modern. The chair was extremely comfortable. Try this spot. You wont be disappointed.
I got a french manicure and it was the worst manicure I have ever received. Not only did my nails all look different, some were completely messed up and the woman said "oh it's okay." It wasn't even 24 hours before they all started chipping. Will never go here again.
