William Monroe High School is a part of the Greene County School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1925, William Monroe High School serves more than 850 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. The school supports a variety of extracurricular programs in art, music and physical education. In addition, William Monroe High School offers courses in agricultural science, home economics, foreign languages, and business and marketing education.
