I received a pair of defective pants I had ordered online that had a broken zipper and a front pocket that had gotten folded under and sewn closed to a seam. I was reimbursed by the seller, but decided to try and salvage the pants. The woman told me she could fix the zipper, but the pocket would probably rip if cut loose. I agreed to just the zipper repair. Not only was my zipper replaced with a better quality zipper, but my pants were also pressed at no charge. Furthermore, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I discovered after taking the pants home that the defective pocket had even been fixed at no extra charge!Thank you.
The one and only laundry shop I trust for my precious garments. If I would rate this one, definitely five out of five.
Beware of organizations who do not have prices posted. They may be price gouging you based on the color of your skin and/or how you look. My husband works at the Pentagon and was happy with his normal dry cleaning services. I went in to get a formal dress taken in. As I was being pinned the owner (who also keeps her dog in the establishment who kept jumping in her and me every time she bent down) kept saying very expensive...and I kept asking how expensive so I can make a decision. She never gave me a price until we got to register. She quoted me $240 to fix a $40 gown. I informed I did not want to pay that price and she got upset and gave me back all my dry cleaning items refusing to service me further. I took my dress to two other seamstress near by and received a $65 and $80 quote for my alterations. Both seamstresses agreed I was almost ripped off. Please do not give this establishment your busy. I am a military officers and at awe at how I was treated after I simply changed my mind. She refused to give me a price upfront although I kept asking.
