I VISITED THE ABOVE MCD ON WED, JULY 16TH--(08:24) I PLACED MY ORDER, 4 SAU PATTIES, 1 SAU EGG MCMUFFIN, 2 SAU EGG CH MCGRIDDLE & 4 HASH BROWN. THE CLERK TOOK MY ORDER NICELY & CORRECTLY; SHE DIDN'T TELL ME TO DRIVE TO ANY WINDOWS BUT I KNOW FROM PAST VISITS TO DRIVE TO WINDOW 1 TO PAY. I DROVE TO WINDOW 1 AND NO ONE WAS THERE, SO I WAITED A FEW MINUTES. AFTER A WHILE I THOUGHT WELL, MAYBE I SHOULD DRIVE TO WINDOW 2, WHEN I DECIDED TO DRIVE TO WINDOW 2, A YOUNG LADY FINALLY CAME TO THE WINDOW, LAUGHING AND CHATTING WITH OTHER CO-WORKERS THEN SHE HOLLERED TO ME $16.93. SHE HURRIDLY TOOK MY MONEY & GAVE ME CORRECT CHANGE. NO THANK YOU MAM, HAVE A GOOD DAY OR ANYTHING. I KNOW THAT'S BECAUSE SHE WAS DISTRACTED. BY THE TIME I DROVE TO WINDOW 2, THIS CLERK HAD BEATEN ME THERE, HER & OTHER CO-WORKERS WERE AT WINDOW 2 LAUGHING & CHATTING. THE CLERK AT WINDOW 2 DID HAVE MY ORDER BAGGED & READY TO GO, I THEN ASKED HER MAY I HAVE A PKG OF SYRUP, SHE TOLD ME THAT WOULD BE AN ADDITONAL .11 CENTS, SO I GAVE HER .15 CENTS THEN ASKED HER DO I NEED TO CHECK MY BAG-(I ASKED BECAUSE OF PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS STORE AND THE ONE ON LUCAS & HUNT) , SHE SAID NO, EVERYTHING IS IN THE BAG, SO I TOOK HER AT HER WORD. WELL, WHEN I GOT HOME TO FEED MY SICK EDERLY PARENTS, WHO'S MOUTH WERE READY FOR A MCGRIDDLE I HAD TO TELL ONE OF THEM THAT THEY HAD TO EAT MY MCMUFFIN. I CALLED THE MNGR FOR THAT MORNING--(RON) HE WAS COURTEOUS & POLITE. HE APOLOGIZED & PUT MY NAME IN SOME BOOK SO THAT ON MY NEXT VISIT, I CAN RECV THE MCGRIDDLE THAT I DIDN'T RECV TODAY. NOW, SOME MIGHT THINK THAT THIS IS PETTY, BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO GET A FUSS DOWN OR LOOK AT THE DISAPPONTMENT IN MY PARENTS FACES. YES, I ADMIT--I KNOW BETTER, I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE BAG. BUT WHY SHOULD I, IT'S MCD'S JOB TO MAKE SURE MY ORDER IS ACCURATE AND IF THE CLERKS HAD BEING PAYING ATTENTION I WOULDN'T GOT FUSSED AT OR HAD TO WRITE A COMPLAINT AGAINGT THIS STORE, WHICH I'M GLAD TO SEE THAT DECIDED TO STAY & SERVICE THE HOOD. NOW THAT I'VE VENTED & CALMED DOWN AFTER GETTING FUSSED AT, I CAN SAY THAT I WAS GLAD TO SEE MCD HAD SO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE WORKING, THAT MEANS FOR THE MOST PART THESE YOUNG PEOPLE ARE NOT ON THE STREETS CAUSING TROUBLE, BUT I PLEA, PLEASE TRAIN THEM THAT IT'S OK TO WORK & HAVE FUN, BUT DO THAT AS WELL AS GET THE JOB COMPLETELY DONE. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRUST A CLERK WHEN SHE SAYS IT ALL THERE. I ALSO NOTICE THAT THERE WAS A SR. CITIZEN WORKING THERE CLEANING THE FLOOR & NOT TO MY SURPRISE-- HE WAS SWEATING & HUSSLING TO GET THE JOB DONE. ALL I ASK IS THAT THE CLERKS LEARN WHEN IT'S TIME TO PLAY & WHEN IT'S TIME TO WORK. THANK YOU!
Long John Silvers is by far one of my favorite places to eat. I really love their chicken. It’s always juicy and tender and the breading is golden and scrumptious. But the best part of eating at LJS is the little bits of fried batter they always put at the bottom. They are like little pieces of heaven. I also appreciate that their restaurants are always neat and tidy, unlike many other fast food establishments. The tables and floors are never sticky and the bathrooms are always clean as well. The service is excellent as well. The cashiers are always friendly and attentive, and they are also very efficient. We hardly ever have to wait more than five minutes for our food to be served. And whenever the food is ready, they bring it right to your table. The décor is very cute as well. Whenever I eat there, I feel like I am on a pirate ship. The walls are bright yellow and very cheerful and I can always spot the restaurant from a distance by the vivid blue roof. My personal favorite part of the whole LJS experience is when I finish eating and am on my way out the door. I get to ring the bell to let the employees know I had another great dining experience at Long John Silvers.
I visit this store at times since it's close to work. I find it very slow at times exspelly going thru the dirve thru. Went there Fri (11-26-10) w/a friend & went thru the drive thru. Got back to work & found out my friends mushroom/swiss angus burger DID NOT HAVE ANY MUSHROOMS on it. I ordered the mighty kids meal, when at the window, had to ask me if I wanted a boy or girls gift. ALSO DID NOT GIVE ME A STAW FOR MY DRINK. the help & service at this store needs some help. Thankfully it wasn't busy due to the holiday. Last time I went there, the line was going out on service road for drive thru so came in & ordered thinking it would be faster. It was someBUT...... as I was getting my drink they called my # & by the time I got up to the reg. some one else HAD TAKEN my meal & they had to make me a new one which was a special order. I also ordered 3 choclet chip cookies & had to ask for those as they weren't in w/my order either. we only get 30 min for lunch & when we spend 15-20 min in line & getting our food, we have no time to eat it when we get back to the office. Not allowed to eat at desk.
Have had mixed experiences, including some very negative. When things get pretty bad (4 things wrong with 1 drive thru order, which happened to me rather recently), someone might complain to corporate, and then things seem to get better. I have seen this cycle a few times. As long as they don't serve me another raw burger or forget/screw up 4 things in 1 order, I may raise my review again if service continues to be improved. During my most recent visit, everything was good, although they guessed my identity when I presented a free meal coupon, which they stated they needed to check if their store would accept. TO be fair, I didn't complain until after things got way out of hand (raw burger, more things wrong with an order than are right)
Make sure they actually order what you want and what they want you to have. My last order was wrong, and didn't received all of it. When I asked for the refund of the items I didn't get the cashiers started to argue with me about it. She did put on a show in front of her manager and other customers. I know I am not a perfect person but I am thinking to work at Arby's you are.
You can’t go wrong with Taco Bell. Good food with late hours. This one is the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut combination, 2 restaurants in 1. But they only have 3 kinds of personal pan pizza: cheese, pepperoni, and supreme. They need more variety. The only bad thing about this place is it is sometimes hard to get in/out of the entrance, but I’ll always go there for a quick eat.
They have by far, the best customer service of any fast food chain I've ever visited. Their employees are very helpful, their lines even though they appear a mile long go very quickly due to all registers open during rush times. The counter help is most helpful and courteous with always a well wish as you receive your meal to have a great day.
My wife and I ordered grilled fish tacos from this location. They tasted scrumptious, moist with a tasty tangy sauce with generous cheese and lettuce. The best of Lent has extended into the joy of Easter. We heartily commend them anywhere but profoundly at this location with this very skilled and motivated fish chef. Thank you, Demetrius!
I got one of the $4.99 gyros and it is the best gyro I've had in St. Louis. The spices are what make it. It has a great kick to it and it's also huge. I tried using my hands but eventually gave up and used a knife and fork. I hope they keep the price at $4.99 because I could go there at least once a week.
