General Info: The Northern Virginia Lactation Center, also known as NVLC, offers lactation consulting services for mothers. The center conducts childbirth preparation classes and provides infant massage therapy services. It offers one-on-one help to mothers who experience breast-feeding problems in offices and homes. The Northern Virginia Lactation Center also provides breast pumps, breast-feeding pillows and related accessories for sale and rent. It conducts clinical evaluations and prepares individualized care plan for infants and their mothers. The center also provides pre- and post-weight feed checks to measure the infant's milk intake.
