Everything's deliciousI've tried some of each of their curry, soup, noodle, sandwich, and even dessert dishes, and it's all great! A rare Vietnamese gem.
Kim's food is delicious. The broth of the Pho is light and rich. The fresh spring rolls are so good I can make a meal of them. I can't wait to try some new dishes.
If you have an hour to wait for your food, then this please is good for you. I actually love the food at this place. It cheap and closer to my house. I usually come and order to go and normally wait for 20 mins. Today, we decided to dining in, there were big group of people there during lunch. We got there around noon, we were waiting until 12:30 still didn't have the food, so I decided to changed my order to togo, so I can make it to work. (I also paid in advance, so I could safe my time) Around 12:50 everyone on my table got their food. I wait 10 more mins I still didn't get my order. The irony was the people the table next to us(which ordered after me) already got their food. At 1pm I left the place, without having any food in my stomach. Next time I would rather drive to other Vietnamese places on Battlefield or Glenstone and drive back home, would be faster than order at this place near my house.
Awesome, awesome Pho Tai! Best I've had. I thought the restaurant was good before it changed owners but now, omg so good!. I never leave reviews but when we were in there eating right at lunchtime and we were the only ones in there enjoying such good food, I felt I had to share my experience. You. Must. Go. You will not regret it!
This was my first visit since it changed owners. I had a bowl of the "Pho Tai". The broth was perfectly rich and steaming hot. The sliced beef was very tender, and they offered the usual sides that included plenty of Thai Basil, which I love. The bowl was huge! I left almost miserable. I can't say anything bad about my bowl of heavenly Pho!
I ate at this cafe last week and cannot wait to go back. It was my first introduction to Vietnamese food, so I cannot compare it. However, it was VERY good. The staff was very patient and willing to explain their menu choices. The only downfall is that they did not offer a children’s menu. However, they did have chicken strips with fries as an appetizer- priced cheaper than most kid meals. In addition, the portion was larger than most other restaurants offer on their kid menus and the chef willingly switched out the fries for rice. Speaking of portions – I left well satisfied. While the décor is simple and the location is strangely odd, between a head shop and another Asian restaurant, I consider it a hidden gem and will be back.
The food is AMAZING here! They have the best crab rangoon I have had in a very long time. Their Pho is seasoned perfectly and the pineapple chicken is wonderful. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice.
