I would never recommend this daycare to anyone the owner Heather's daughter Christi is a royal B***h and should not be around children ever!!!! My 2 year old attended the daycare for the first time ever .. one day I dropped him off at 8:30 in the morning and picked him up around 4:30pm I only live not even 5 minutes away from the daycare when I got my son home his diaper was literally sagging off of him.. he had been having problems with a diaper rash so I started marking his diapers to see if they were actually changing him during the day come to find out when we got home the same diaper had been on him all day I called to confront them about and christy said she would check the cámaras and call me Back she didn't do so until the following day. She said that cámaras showed he was checked several times but wasn't changed because he was never wet!!!!! What 1 year old goes 8 hours without wetting there diaper... not my son so she got a snobby attitude with me over being upset I said I felt my son was neglected and I would not be bringing him back we exchanged words and she exploded like a ticking time bomb she was screaming and cussing her head off through my sons diapers at me and his other belongings this was all in front of other children I called the cops as she's pounding her fist on the counter telling me to get over it even the 911 dispatcher couldn't believe that the crazy lady yelling was christy a daycare employee daughter of the owner Heather.. long story shot cops showed up took a report and told me this was not the first complaint and that they would be investigated not to mention another employee an older lady kept telling her to stop yelling in front of the children when she went nuts the other teacher left the daycare crying!!! It was a horrible experience and I much agree they should be shut down never to open again!!

The Goddard School

If you want your child to learn something and want him/her to have some structure, take him/her somewhere else! This is the most illegitimate "school" I've ever seen. They should rename themselves "The Goddard Circus." The owner and manager are completely incompetent. They are very abusive to the children and staff and scheme to defraud their clients and The State of Missouri. Our children (3 toddlers) come home dirty, hungry, thirsty, injured or sick daily. Sometimes all of the above. If you want your children to be neglected and mistreated, take them to The Goddard School in Springfield, MO. Ask for "Ms. Carey or Ms. Jessica." They will be happy to victimize you and your child, while charging you a mint. This place is completely bogus and will be exposed.

Very happy with the care my child has received at both locations of MTLC. The staff is caring and helpful. Both centers are clean and inviting. My child is happy and we are impressed with the rate at which he is learning. I would recommend both locations to anyone I know. I also like the fact that they share inspection reports from local, state and federal inspections

Terrible place! I just witnessed a grandmother completely devastated because her 2 year old grandson has been abused at this place he has only been there one week and has come home with injuries everyday and today it resulted in a concussion. Someone needs to shut that place down they don't even do background checks from my understanding. There is no excuse. Kids get hurt sometimes this child is getting hurt every single day!!!

MTLC is a gem of a preschool. My family loves it here. Heather the owner is wonderful and Kristeen the Director is awesome. The staff is great and dedicated to the families they serve. My personal experience with MTLC has been terrific. I had car trouble last winter stuck on the side of the road. I called to let them know that I would be late. With out me asking the owner came to pick us up and help me get my car into service. This is how they go above and beyond. My daughter is happy and learning and loves her teachers. I would highly recommend MTLC. You are not going to find a better preschool in town.

I would not recommend this daycare to anyone! The morning. Girls are great but the ones that come in later neglect babies. I arrived to get my son around 430pm on April 4th my son had no pants on and no socks he was freezing. He was playing in a jumper thing I picked him up and he smelled so bad. I said something to the girls and they ignored me. I put his pants on and took him home. When I got home I took his pants off and undid his onesie he had on a clean diaper and not one I send with him they used another child's even though he had plenty. I took his onesie off and there was dried poop all over it. He had dried poop all over his back and sat in that for who knows how long!! He also had a red mark on his leg. The daycare said that he was changed at 4pm with a poop diaper but they missed it being all over him! They also said the red mark was from a chair he wasn't even sitting in when I got there so I don't believe that! They neglect kids and the girls only got a verbal warning! I moved daycares quick! I refuse to let incompetent people take care of my son! Beware!

They don't even have there teachers in ECD classes. There Assistant Director don't even have the hours that is recommended to be in that spot. They have no cooks. The teachers are very snotty and rude.

Carpenters Kids Preschool

Carpenter's kids was the first preschool I placed my son in. He was 3 and I never left him with anyone besides family. His teacher was amazing she sent me pics throughout that first day of him playing and having fun, which made me feel so much better. Everyone there soon became family. They had so many fun activities, including a circus the kiddos put on. I strongly recommend carpenters kids. I wish they were open earlier because I would have my son enrolled there again. I formed such a bond with his teacher that I still call her for advice once in a while. Can't say enough good things about this school. I also loved the playground. Go check it out and you will see why ;)

Worst daycare. They give super small portion sizes - legally to small. They don't do background checks/ drug test upon hiring employees ( who's really watching your child?) I heard one teacher tell another that she was just going to let a 1 year old fall off a rocking chair onto a tiled floor because she was tired of telling her not to climb up there. My 3 year old who had never been in a daycare setting knew all of his shapes, letters, alphabet, numbers etc- and kids in the 5s class didn't even know this- my point is, there lesson plans were awful , lazy and quickly thrown together not really teaching much. Long story short - research who you leave your child with.

Great Christian preschool! The teachers love Jesus and love the kids! Safe environment and your child will be more than prepared to start kindergarten.
