I had the same experience that others write of. I was paying my bill with auto deduct and out of the blue one day my roll out cart was missing. I never received any notice. Not a letter nor an email as they claimed. I had to pay what they said was unpaid and even then it was over a week for them to return my cart. of course I had to pay for the week I didn't receive service as well as clean up the trash the animals spread around since I didn't have a cart. now they haven't picked up this week, claiming it is due to snow. if school buses can run those big honkin trucks should be able to also. The people on the phone are very rude and unhelpful.

Never got my bill or my calls. Then was charged double to restart and told I was 3 months over due, when I had paid that bill. Never again.

Awful service. They have taken my trash cans twice since I moved even though my bill was paid. They were completely unhelpful when I needed something that wouldn't fit in the can taken. They wouldn't take it for an extra charge, so I ended up calling another company to take it. Customer service is terrible. I never had an issue with the old trash company that they bought out.

This company is buying up every small local trash business. When they do they omit to notify customers via the old company and then come remove your trash can when they cannot charge your bank account. They have done this to me 3 times now. I will drive my trash to the landfill before I ever have service with them!!!!!!!

worst ever

This company is without a doubt the most incompetent bunch of idiots i've ever had the misfortune of dealing with i paid for 3 months of service up front they picked up my dumpster 2 times an then stopped i called multiple times explaining politely that our dumpster was not picked up they noted the account supposedly on 3 seperate occasions claiming it wouldnt happen again an then began putting the blame on us sayin that "they cant come pick it up because they have had to come back by our residence multiple times" only to correct their own mistakes i asked to cancel after one month due to the fact that my trash is full an still is sitting on the curb i canceled to weeks ago still havent gotten the refund i asked for i can certainly understand why this company has a 1.3 star rating on google i will be contacting the BBB.

We signed up with WCA when we moved here in July of 2013 and we had nothing but trouble until we cancelled in Jan 2014 and then got turned in to collections in March for a bill that was never sent in January. That bill was for service in Jan-Mar when we didn't even have their service! The major issue was our recycling. It was supposed to come every other week and it never did. It was never on schedule. When we cancelled they said nothing about owing money. 90 days later we got a bill and a collections notice. We called and left multiple voicemail, no one would call back. Finally I got someone who said the service was from Jan-Mar AFTER we cancelled and they would contact the local office to credit the bill. Absolutely ridiculous. I wish we would have done a better job researching these reviews before signing on with them.

Never got a bill or a call to notify me I had missed a payment, or even that a payment was due! They hen show up, unannounced and take the cans. I understand them collecting after someone hadn't paid, but they went about it all wrong! They came onto my property, went into my garage and took the cans! This is trespassing. They SHOULD have given me some form of notice that they were going to do this. Their employee should have knocked on my door instead of walking onto my property unannounced!

I only missed the one payment, which I was unaware that I did as I never received a letter of notification or even an email! I was told when I called that they had an automated service call my phone, which I never received. This company has NO idea how to treat their customers properly, nor do they know how to collect money or even make it. I am very disappointed in this company.



Worst Trash Company Ever!

Worst Trash Company Ever! I had just recently moved to a new house and wanted to transfer my service to the new residence. I paid upfront for my next 3 months and provided my new address to be picked up at. I was told I would received a call later that day to let me know what my new day of pickup would be. 3 days later, I finally received my call. I asked if they would bring a new container/my container To the new residence. They answered, no you are responsible for moving your container. I have never had to do this with any other company. I originally had Automated Waste, and never had any problems. On top of everything, since November 13th they have only picked up our trash 2 times. That's 2 times in 2 months. I call every week after they miss our stop. They started claiming that I never paid my service. I sent a copy of my bank statement with the charge on it 3 times to the fax number provided. I explained that my account had to be up to date, before they would allow to do the transfer. I requested them to cancel my service, and refund me for the service I never received. But they canceled my service, refused to pick up my trash, the container is still here, and they refuse to give my a refund. This is ridiculously bad. The big company comes in and takes over the little guy company, and everything changes.



Horrible company

I was a customer of Automated Waste services out of Nixa, Mo for years and never had any problems. One day I recieved a letter in the mail from WCA trash letting me know that they bought out Automated Waste. I didn't want to do business with a large out of town corp so I called WCA and put an end to them handling my trash service and hired a locally owned company. Months later I get a letter from a collection agency stating that I owe $16 to WCA. That is just crazy that they turned me into collections. A bill or perhaps when I called to cancel they could have informed me of an outstanding balance. They never tried to contact me or send a bill. Honest truth, always have payed my bills and these people turn me into collections over $16. This is the absolute truth and now I have to take time out of my day making multiple phone calls to make this right. Absolutely unbelievable!
