        Do not wait until your child is sick or needs a check up to choose a pediatrician. Even if you have recently moved, are changing insurances, or are having a baby, it is best to find a pediatrician as soon as you can. For recommendations about a pediatrician, ask other doctors you know, as well as family, friends, relatives and coworkers. After you have a list of names, set up a meeting to get acquainted. If possible, both parents should attend this meeting. A face to face interview gives you the chance to find out for yourself the pediatrician''s views and character. Most doctors do not charge for this introductory meeting.

        Well Baby and Well Child check ups are an essential part of your childs health maintenance program. You can expect us to check your childs growth and development as well as discuss a variety of issues including nutrition and behavior. This visit gives us the opportunity to perform a complete physical exam. Therefore these check ups are scheduled more time then a sick child visit. You will need to schedule these visits in advance. They cannot be added to a sick child visit.

        Dr Bumberry has been my PCP for 16 years. My wife & I were some of her 1st patients. She listens to you and although she practices very traditional western medicine she is very keen to the alternative type of medicine. I always want to try herbs & vitamins & supplements she is usually willing to listen to me & let me try my way. She has never let me get into trouble with my way, understanding I know my body better than anyone else, but will straighten me out when necessary. She is the best PCP you could ever want.
        Her staff are always attentive & adhere to Mercy's mission statement & principles. Her clinic deserves 10 Stars.
