I go to Children's Orchard every spring and fall to stock up on what my kids need for the upcoming seasons. I never go anywhere else anymore. They are usually very busy. Because of that, I recommend not going during peak times. That's just me though. I always find everything I need. I have a girl and a boy with a huge age gap. It's a one stop shop for me. The owners are also very nice and they do sales (on already cheap clothes) very often.

Prices are high compared to other places.
They have tent sales and other promotional/sale events, but don't let you use store credit. They NEVER mention this anywhere, until you get to the checkout.
They either are too stupid to inform customers of this, or trying to trick you into finding this out at the last minute.
They're buying process is terrible. Employees are rude and don't want to provide any information about how much they pay for anything. They say they'll sell it for one price (so they can pay you less) and then sell it for more money. Go anywhere else or just donate the stuff.
I have three children and I love shopping at Children's Orchard for them. Just last Saturday I bought 3 pair of Baby Phat jeans for my 3 year old at truly reasonable prices, all in like new condition. I just can’t get enough of Children's Orchard. I want to say thanks to all the employees that make it happen everyday. I’m a satisfied customer for life…. and the store is always clean and clothes/furniture are always in order and easy to browse through.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I dropped off a tub of nice used clothes to be traded-in. The clothes were all name-brand matching outfits for an infant boy. Very pricey when new. They bought a couple outfits for $7. Then they DONATED the rest of the tub to Charity & I got nothing. I didn't tell they they could do that. They effectively STOLE my used baby clothes and I couldn't do anything about it. Then when I went into to talk to management, the manager called the cops because I was disrupting their business!! They called the cops ON ME!?!? Please don't use the Children's Orchard in Springfield, MO. The owner was even there and told me off while the manager was calling the police. I didn't raise my voice, nor did I disrupt business. I couldn't believe that that was the way that they do business. DON'T USE THEM!
I actually wondered into your store almost 2 years ago. We went to Springfield to take my daughter to the hospital and found this absolutely amazing store. I have 3 kids and I buy all of their name brand clothes there. It is even cheaper than Wal-Mart and I love the fashionable clothes at the discounted price. The Children's Orchard has saved me a lot of money. Too bad the closest store is 2 hours away. We still drive the 2 hours just to go shopping at this store. It is well worth it.
My husband and I just love this store, we love it because my daughter is already a little tomboy, and I feel better going to Children's Orchard and buying jeans and sweatpants, that do not cost an arm and a leg for her to rough house and get grubby with her older brother. We also love it because we have found some of the cutest sports jersey's and Halloween costumes that when we went to a chain store, they were already out of, its great because there is always a steady flow of clothes for all seasons. If you have children you'll want to visit the Children's Orchard in Springfield, Missouri

I was nervous about going to a resale shop, but I really wanted all this baby furniture out of my house! Everyone was nice and helpful (unloading the furniture), the store is clean, neat, and the products look like new! The price given for my furniture was fair, and I even bought the ""push tricycle"" I had been wanting. I wish this shop was closer to home!!
