My account was deactivated. Penmac, I noticed, was only interested in connecting me with jobs and work environments that were unsuitable for me. They seemed to be intentionally grouping me, referring me, to locations where I did not belong, in an effort to instigate confrontation, and drive me away. This agency, at this location, seems to be primarily centered on working with those suffering with substance abuse problems, felony convictions, and others in tough situations, of similar likeness. I feel no shame or guilt in saying that Penmac, and their associates, exploits those who are in greater need and struggling. I am terribly disappointed with my experiences here. They will steal your money out of your check if you do not confront them and keep track of your hours. Best advice: I don't know what you're gonna' do, but don't go there! Good God man!!! Find another way!!!

Don't ever come to this racist hospital!- its a dirty shame!- because of the rude nurses especially the worst one of all!- JUANITA! In the psych ward inpatient A- Marian center! She should be fired!- for being so racist and disrespectful to patients!- in need of help!- but u will get no help from her!- if u are black!!! And don't say u are homeless and suicidak- she will call u a liar!- to your face!- and threaten u and violate all your patients rights- only if your black!!! She is the most disgusting nurse I have ever seen in my whole life! Shame on her! And I feel sorry for her next innocent victim! And DR KIM!- is a disgrace to her profession!- she is racist too! And the worst psychiatrist that ever lived! They should be shut down!- and sued!! For discrimination! And for violating patients rights for treatment- based on your race! They are possibly the worst temporary agency in Springfield. Office staff do not value their jobs (otherwise they wouldn't leave a potential applicant sitting there for 10 minutes while they talk amongst themselves and answer phone calls after that applicant arrived). In addition, they administer a cotton swab drug test but don't monitor the potential candidate doing it!!!! Besides this, their records system seems to not keep up with the modern technology (otherwise they would have your employee file ready to update). This begs the question: where do those files go???? Because it seems they can't find any employee files after 3 years!!!! Be forwarned when you go to update your information you will have to go in and re-apply from scratch. However, the major problem I have with Human Resource Staffing is that they advertise on Indeed and CareerBuilder that they have several job openings available waiting to be filled. But, when you get through the application, testing and interview they say at the end, "sorry we don't have anything at the moment; but please! check back in with us next week (we might have something available for you?)" I say what a huge waste of an hour of my time!!!! Literally for nothing. Trust me: there are better temporary agencies out there then this one.
Worst 9 day hospital experience ever! Not sure if we're spoiled out here in California with our health care or if this is just an extremely bad place to have loved ones at when sick. No sense of urgency and caught the staff in numerous lies when we asked questions. No one ever knew what was going on. Father in law diagnosed with pancreatic cancer......no one seemed to know what anyone was doing for him nor did they ever bother to ask. I realize this is no USC Norris but come on...... you really should take some lessons Mercy. Pain was NOT managed, no one made sure he ate, never had a case manager or social worker come meet with us. Surgeries, X-rays and procedures changed times and days every time they were scheduled. Awful awful awful. However......Krystal and Ashley on the 3rd floor for room 3252 were phenomenal. Treated us like we were the only family in there. The rest of the nursing staff should be retrained by them! Especially the ladies on the 4th floor intensive care. You should be ashamed.
Scheduling nightmare. Incompetent scheduling employees. No communication. I have a 10 o'clock appointment on Wednesday October 19th. If it doesn't go well, you will be seeing more....

I had to go to the emergency room while at a federal training in Springfueld. People were waiting 8+ hours in the waiting room. There was blood in the floor in the bathroom. I had an ultersound for possible DVT. I waited 4 1/2 hours for a 20 min ultersound. They asked me to take off my pants and didn't provide any gowns or sheets. People wait so much that they have a policy to walk around and check vitals every two hours. This is a poor functioning hospital. The staff explained they have a nurse shortage. I feel sad for the people of this town. I've been here 6 hours and I'm still in the waiting room and not placed in a room. There are no cleaning people going around trying to reduce disease.
I moved back home from Kansas city and Focus was able to transfer all my info to the Springfield branch quite easily. they found me a job in a couple of days. this staff is great to work with.
I worked with Focus a couple of years ago and was hired on by the company I was placed at. I was recently laid off from that company and I went back to Focus to find another job and got me started working again quickly.
