I do like Gordman's. I have only shopped in the Springfield, MO store. I use to buy a lot of clothing there, but it seems their juniors' section has gotten trashier in the last several yeart. I am talking shirts with no material. I do still check out the misses career type clothing and occasionally find something. I use to buy shoes regularly, but now it seems like their prices are just the same as any other store. I do like that they carry the Kathy Van Zeeland purse line. Those purses are cheaper than Macy's or department stores. I also like the home and picture section. I have purchased several large pictures for my home. They also have some beautiful "iron work" art pieces for the home. I do enjoy the home section (ie candles, flower arrangements, baskets, lamps, etc). They do carry unique items that are not in every other store you shop. The only thing I would truly fault Gordon's on is the return policy. I have returned a couple of things there in the past ten years. That's not a lot considering I am a long time customer. The last time I tried to return something, I did have the receipt. The clerk was very irritable with the customers ahead of me and then acted like taking my item back was a huge hassle. My mom also had some issues returning some clothing. I just have a bad impression of the return policy. If I am not completely sure about an item, I just don't buy it.
