I have encountered multiple shady business practices at this store. The gas prices on the sign are regularly different than what is paid at the pump. There is clearly a big sign out front that says Lottery, however go inside and you will find out there is no scratch tickets sold or redeemed at this establishment. On the sign out front, Milk clearly stated 2.99 a gallon, but went in to purchase and was charged 3.99. When asked why that price, was told....You didn’t buy gas. Since when is milk price dependent on a gas purchase? Avoid this place.

I visited the Cooley st Big y today an it was a pleasure I used the caroline way shopping cart and it made it so much easier to shop with my grandson who otherwise could not make it more than 10 min in the store asked me why we couldn't stay longer.Thank you

I used to live a few short blocks away & would buy the freshest ingredients for Vietnamese & other Asian cooking. Now, it's a car trip but I still go there. Huge fresh blocks of tofu that are in buckets of water. The turn-around time on everything is rapid, so I never worry about things sitting on the shelves too long. There are a lot of common items & extremely "exotic" items for most westerners which keeps the place interesting to me or to anyone else that's adventurous & wants to try something new. It is loud & busy in there. A medium sized market. Amazingly inexpensive. I've never been to Asia, so it reminds me a lot of NYC. Can you tell I'm impressed?

Always had a great meal anytime I've been to this restaurant. Take out is excellent too!
