Most companies stand behind their work and want to be sure the customer is satisfied. Ruby Electric, however, charged $70 for 10 minutes to complete hanging my chandelier when I asked them to come back to correct it. I thought that the bill must be a mistake and wrote to the owner but all that did was add late charges. Communication in the office seemed confused when I tried to reach them to resolve the issue. Although I'd been happy with their previous work, I will not be calling them again or recommending them to others.
We purchased a home generator from a box store. When it failed it was still under warranty. The service person that worked on the generator wasn't able to fix it. After complaining to our retailer again they gave us Ruby Electrics phone number. We called and set up an appointment. They came out. Found out what was wrong with our unit and ordered the parts. Two weeks later our generator was fixed! We had wasted months trying to get it fixed before we called Ruby. They made it look easy. I can't tell you how much we appreciate their effort.
