A few days ago I went to Prairie Eye Center to pick up my husband's contacts. I was charged twice for the contacts. The service was horrible. When I finally found out that I was charged twice, I went back to Prairie Eye Center. Explained to them that they charged me twice. "Thats impossible," the lady said. "It's your bank that made the mistake." Ok well I guess I need to call the bank. So I called the bank and my banker said,"It is definitely Prairie Eye Center who made the error." So I call back Prairie Eye Center and after spending all afternoon on hold and being transferred several times. I finally said ok you can either do the right thing and give me my money back or I will contest it. Soon after that the woman made a rude comment to me and then said I see where we made the mistake I will credit your account tomorrow. Well I am not holding my breath. With service like this who knows what will happen next. When I suggested to the manager that they fix their billing system, she assured me that I am the only person who has ever had this problem. Too bad she doesn't know that the receptionist told me that one day it overcharged every customer who used debit and credit cards.
