I used the Dunkin on MLK all the time when I worked in Fayettevile, so when I learned there was one by where I worked in Springdale I was too excited. Unfortunately, it sucks compared to ANY other location I've been to. I am a religious iced coffee drinker and I love the iced caramel latte from DD. Until I had it in Springdale. The first time I tried it it tasted just like straight caramel flavoring. No coffee taste what-so-ever. It was disgusting. I thought maybe they just over poured, no big deal. I worked in restaurant a long time, mistakes happen. I gave them another try, and it was the same result. This time I made my co-worker try it just in case something was wrong with me. Nope he spit it out. Decided then I wasn't going to give them another shot. Well here it is a couple months later and I really wanted a good iced caramel latte. Hesitantly, I tried them again. This time was different. It taste like water with a little coffee taste at the end. I wish they would bring everyone from the Fayetteville store to teach them how to make drinks correctly.
Let me start by saying that I should have learned my lesson long before this last trip, but I didn't. 80% of times that I have stopped in the past, something that I have ordered hasn't be ready or I had to wait 15-20 minutes to get it. But not really a big deal right? Their donuts aren't my favorite, but when I need to grab donuts for the office, they are in route and closest. Today, I stop in and attempt to order 2 dozen donuts, plain and cake, 2 kolaches and a apple fritter. She tells me that they don't have any apple fritters made yet, so I just cancel that. She then comes back a few minutes later to tell me no kolaches are ready. Starting to get aggravated at this point but give her my card to run the 2 dozen donuts. The sign by the window states that regular and cake donuts are $7.09 a dozen, she rings up my order at $21.98. I catch that, she tries to hand me a couple of dollars to make it "even"??? She said that was right because the sign was wrong and the donuts were more than what the sign says?? Are you kidding me? You expect me to pay more than what your own signs says that they cost?? At this time, I hand back the donuts and ask for a full refund. She takes my card back, goes speaks with someone in the back who then comes out and tells me that they will refund but it will be tomorrow because they can...Hum no. Finally she comes back with a receipt showing that I have been credited. Time will tell, still not reflected on my bank account.
