Our mission for decades has been to provide high-quality, responsive and cost effective services to our clients. We accomplish this mission by building close personal relationships with our clients, striving to understand our clients' businesses, and providing a practical, multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving. Our lawyers therefore typically practice in more than one area of law and handle a diverse range of matters for clients
While some divorces can be messy, most are not. In many cases, both spouses have acknowledged the need for divorce and have agreed to the essential terms of the divorce, such as child custody, visitation, and division of property. In those cases, we find that our clients seek the assistance of a skilled attorney to simply help them effectuate the terms to which they've already agreed. In an uncontested divorce action, our attorneys strive to aid clients in preparing the appropriate divorce documents and guide them through an intimidating court system without causing unnecessary spousal disputes or unwanted litigation expense.
Child Support
Some divorces are, however, hotly contested. Where the parties are unable to reach an agreement, the court must decide custody issues, visitation schedules, child support matters, property division, and various other issues which arise along the way. In those cases, you will take comfort knowing that our attorneys are quite experienced in litigation and will fight to ensure that you and your children are treated fairly.

Guardianship
We represent clients in need of establishing all types of guardianships for loved ones, in both contested and uncontested matters. This can include guardianships over persons or estates for children, elderly and incapacitated individuals. Our attorneys have years of experience in this area to ensure that families’ needs and concerns are addressed.
Our team is skilled and well-versed in all claims, including employment, real estate, title, construction, insurance and corporate litigation, and are licensed to practice in both state and federal courts, at the trial and appellate levels.
Mergers and Acquisitions
His practice includes advising non-profit organizations regarding formation and governance matters, and exemptions from federal and state taxation. Robert also advises clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, public and private debt and equity offerings, securities law compliance, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.
Business Disputes
Business Transactions
We assist our clients with all aspects of corporate and business transactions, including business organization, structuring, due diligence, negotiating and drafting transaction documents, advising officers and directors on their fiduciary duties, and coordinating with business teams and any financial, accounting or other specialist advisers.
Our attorneys represent cities and public entities across the state in litigation defense matters, including contract law, land use litigation, claims before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, condemnation proceedings, federal and state civil rights matters, employment discrimination claims, defense of police and fire departments and personnel, administrative law, taxation and illegal exaction cases and appellate litigation.
Micki served as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Springdale for 11 years, acting primarily as counsel to the Planning Commission and handling land use matters. She also served as legal counsel to the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital for 11 years, and handled real estate development work in the area. Micki’s expertise in real estate law and community connections led to her being a founding member of the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust on whose Board of Directors she still serves. That group works with conservation-minded landowners, municipalities and partner organizations to protect land with agricultural, ecological, scenic, historic, and recreational significance in Northwest Arkansas.
Construction Litigation
Greg’s specialty is that of a litigator, and he advocates on behalf of the firm’s clients on a wide variety of issues, such as condemnation cases, real estate and title disputes, construction claims and insurance claims. He’s attracted to the excitement of the courtroom and litigation, something he discovered while observing trials that were held in courtrooms surrounding his law school in downtown Houston. Greg graduated Magna Cum Laude from the South Texas College of Law and was named to the South Texas Law Review. He has represented corporate, municipal, and individual clients in numerous jurisdictions, including Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana. Greg also serves as a Prosecuting Attorney for numerous municipalities in Benton County, Arkansas.
Real Estate Transactions
Justin represents public entities and municipalities in issues such as human resources, land use, tax disputes, constitutional law, civil rights cases and governance, and he helps businesses with corporate formations, real estate transactions, and other general legal matters. Prior to attending law school, Justin worked in Brussels, Belgium in international commercial trade regulation and then locally in business translation. He is the son of educators; his mother is a retired public school teacher and his father a retired professor of Foreign Languages at the University of Arkansas. His first taste of public entity legal work came about while working as a law clerk for Harrington Miller. Justin is licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas as well as the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Justin serves on the Fayetteville Public School District Board of Education. He currently serves as the City Attorney for Tontitown and Cave Springs and represents various municipalities and public entities across Arkansas in litigation and for special projects.
Eminent Domain

“Having a background in family counseling has made me a better attorney. I’ve worked in estate planning for over 30 years, and it’s not unlike social work in that I’m helping families solve problems.”
Wills
You need a Last Will and Testament if you own property in your own sole name at the time of your death, with no beneficiary named.
Trusts
Robert specializes in assisting clients with estate planning and wealth preservation through the creation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and the use of lifetime gifting and business succession planning. He has a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Taxation and is one of only a handful of area attorneys to hold this advanced degree. He spent six years in a large, national law firm before joining Harrington Miller.
Power of Attorney
Almost every adult can be protected by durable powers of attorney. A power of attorney is a designation of another person, or persons, to act in your behalf if you are mentally incapacitated, or otherwise need someone to act, say if you are out of the country for a closing on your home. “Durable” means the power of attorney endures the incapacity of the person. Health Care powers of attorney are strictly for medical decisions. At any time, a person could need his or her appointed “attorney-in-fact” to act on his or her behalf, due to injuries from a car wreck, a stroke or heart attack, or the onset of dementia. If incapacity occurs and a person does not have powers of attorney, family or loved ones may have to seek a court-ordered guardianship to assist with financial and medical decisions.
