Treshwig Veterinary Clinic
When I first moved up here I needed to find a good vet since I had 3 dogs and was referred to this vet. I should've done more research. I wish I could give them a big 0 instead of a 1. Based on my experience with Dr. Debra Garrison and this clinic I will NEVER recommend them to anyone who asks. I would caution everyone to ask several different people who have pets about a good vet before making a decision. Because if you don't it could cost you your pet's life. I wish I had asked around more because if I had maybe I would still have my beloved family member alive and happy with me.
We couldn't go to our usual vet... they were to busy. I ask a friend about Treaschwig Veterinary Clinic and she highly recommended them, so I called and made an appointment.
Dr. Garrison and her staff were amazing. We brought in a stray cat I and although we had not had him very long we loved him from the time we first laid eyes on him. He had been abused when he came to our home, but we gave him love and kindness to show him that their still were people in the world who cared.
Dr. Garrison was straight up with us and said the best thing to do for him was to put our beloved Stumpy down. He was very ill and would be suffering. My heart broke and the tears steamed down my face and do you know what Dr. Garrison did for me....she hugged me and told me how sorry she was...Dr. Garrison had never met us but she felt our deep sorrow none the less. This is how caring she and her staff were.
I then understood that we were supposed to come to her....fate....had our usual vet, that we had been going to for 20 years not been constantly busy we would have never known to come here.
We buried Stumpy in our backyard today and we bought a chime that they sell at her clinic so every time the wind blows we will know he is ok now and that he finally found the love he was looking for.
Dr. Garrison will be our new vet from now on and we are very grateful to have a place that we can bring our little guys to and feel comfortable and know that they are in wonderful caring hands.
Thank you Dr. Garrison and all your wonderful, caring staff.

As I've been having major problems with fleas, I called them to see if they sell Capstar. The lady was quite snippy and said NO, WE DO NOT SELL THAT. When asked what flea meds you can use at 8 weeks of age, she again snippy and rude said, NONE. YOU CAN'T USE ANY OF THEM.
Lie, lie, lie, lie. Frontline can be used at 8 weeks. Never used that vet and definitely won't now,

NEVER NEVER use this vet if you love your pets. I took my dog there for a haircut, no vet services. She left my baby in a dryer for several hours unattended and she died of heatstroke. Dr Garrison and her staff were very rude and lied to me about the situation. I was asked to leave and told by the Dr that HER lawyer would be contacting me..WHAT???? She killed my dog due to her gross negligance and got off scott free. Believe me when I see someone in our neighborhood that owns a pet, I always ask if they use her, and you would not believe the negative repsonses I get from people at the grocery store or anywhere else that she has harmed or killed their beloved pets as well and was rude about it. Do not be fooled by her fancy website, cause I was. The place is dirty, smells horrid and the way her and her staff treat animals is very sad. She has no business treating a roach. I hope and pray daily that the word of mouth will help save our pets, please start by staying far away from Treschwig Vet Clinic, it should be called Treschwig Death Clinic.

First of all, let me say that my review is permanently AGAINST Garrison. She has left me feeling that she is GREEDY, and does NOT LOVE animals. Neither does her staff. What she has done was RIP ME OFF, GOUGE ME, and RUSHED ME OUT OF HER OFFICE.
Before I brought my dog in I was told that I would get a multi dog discount because I have 5 dogs. When I brought the my sick dog in, they made copies of the records of all my dogs, and then charged me full price!!
When I was filling out the new patient information, they also wanted my SS# and my driver's license number so I could use my credit card!!!!!!! I refused to give them that information and they insisted in cash until I threatened to walk out the door. Since when does anyone have to supply personal confidential information to use a credit card anywhere???
Affordable Pet clinic did not ask for any personal private information, took my credit card with a smile and everyone was happy.
My apointment with Garrison was at 6 PM. I was there early and I had to wait in a waiting room a very long time, in excess of 10 minutes. The kids were busy talking, and the one girl at the front desk was arrogant. No other customers were there.
Finally, when Garrison came into the exam room, she was very impersonal. I guess she didn't like my protests about supplying my personal information to use a credit card! She barely said hello to me, and immediately pounced on my dog giving him a rush through diagnosis and 2 shots. There was NO DISCUSSION, NO TALK ABOUT PRICES. She didn't spend any time to talk to me, advise me, no compassion at all...... just greedy money money money!! $200!!! DO YOU SMELL RIPOFF?? I DO!!! RIPOFF!!! RIPOFF!!! RIPOFF!!!
I found another vet who was compassionate, charges $20 for an exam and the office visit, took care of my dog who is getting better now. He did stool sample, checked everything from head to tail, administered fluids to hydrate him, gave him a pennicilian shot AND an antibiotic shot, gave me medication to give him at home, took his time, answered all my questions, and didn't rush me. His bill was only $97....
Had I gone to RIPOFF Garrison instead of to Affordable Pet Clinic, I would have gouged another $300 to $400 for a similar visit, based on my experience with her just 2 days ago!!!!!! Furthermore, Garrison MISDIAGNOSED my dog's illness, used the inadequate and THE WRONG medications, and then OVERCHARGED! Think about this. A small bottle, about an inch and a half tall with a dropper, with cough meds - she charged 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can get half a gallon of cough meds at the pharmacy for that much money! This was her price about an ounce of syrup!
Garrison charged me $23 for a penicillian shot . . . . Affordable Pet clinic charged me ONLY $5!!!!!! Garrison gouged me. Her price was nearly 450% HIGHER! RIP OFF!!!!!
Garrison told me she gave my dog a shot with antibiotic. I looked up what she gave him and it was for PAIN!!!!!!!! My dog was NOT in pain!!!!! RIPOFF GARRISON!!! And she gouged me for nearly $90 for those 2 meds!!!!!!
Affordable Pet Clinic gave me medicine to take home for FREE, INCLUDED in the total cost. It was NOT itemized on the bill. I wonder what Garrison would have gouged me for that medicine.
Garrison's price for an office visit, exam is a very high $44. I went to another clinic after that who charges LESS THAN HALF - only $20, has an excellent staff, is COMPASSIONATE, takes their time to talk to you and makes sure you understand what is happening and why. When I left there, I was very HAPPY - not feeling like I was just run through the mill and RIPPED OFF as I felt with Garrison.
I would advise to steer clear of this place! I can describe this place in one word - RIPOFF!!!!! JUST One word, folks! RIPOFF!!!! I even told them before I left, I will NEVER BE BACK and I suggest that you never go there!!!!!! Ca
Our bloodhound was really sick we didn't know what was wrong. She wouldn't eat, barely drank and had not life to her. She could barely get on the couch. It was the weekend so we took her the the animal clinic were they said she needed surgery, and showed me a x-ray of her with two objects in her. Well she eats everything so we were upset. We couldn't get the money til Monday so they said take her home and bring her back monday. She seemed to get worse so on monday we got the money and took her to Treaschwig Veterinary clinic. This is where she regulary goes. We gave the doc the x-rays from the emergency clinic and she took Lady bird and said she would call us. It turned out that she didn't need surgery. The objects were the dones she ate. She had phnuemonia. The doctor kept her for 3 days. We got her back and she was her self again. Ohh and the cost was no where near the price the emergency clinic gave us. We will never go anywhere else. Ladybird loves the Treashwigh Veterinary clinic. So do we.
